Best aquarium we've ever been to, without a doubt. This place is insane! We went with our young children (a few years ago), and they were amazed. I would've loved to have gone back without them as there was a plethora of information that I didn't have time to read. This place is a must see for anyone that has the ability to visit the area.

Amazing place to visit and lots to see and do.Everything was set out to follow easy.I got my ticket beforehand from Trip Advisor.
Lovely fish and penguins.Turtle,Sealions and reptiles.Lots of activities for everyone to do.Largest tank to watch the fish and the rays. Watched the divers feed the rays and the lady explains but in French.Lots of toilets. Also a clock room lockers and a lovely shop. Also a lovely restaurant overlooking the beach. All was clean and staff helpful.Well worth a visit.

Went on a day trip. There were 12 of us in total..4 little ones and 8 adults. The price was amazing, 210€ and the place is incredible.. so many different species to see. And photo booth type activities where you can email the photos straight to yourself free, so no paying a fortune for a photo. Compared to UK ones this is far superior. Definitely recommend, this is our third visit over the years with various ages of children..

Lots of fish, as we walked the fish tanks never stopped! Recommend the large main tank with the manta ray, very cool and curious! The seals were very cool also!

Good crepes and hot chocolates

An excellent aquarium, one of the best.
We visited with two young children and they absolutely loved the whole experience, somehow lasting 5 hours before we started the gift shop negotiations.
Most of the stuff you'll have seen at other zoos but the main tank here is incredible with a superb collection of animals and an absolutely stunning manta ray. In addition the sea lion show was very good and the animals seemed well looked after and happy.
I'd happily return next time we're in France, worth every penny.

Absolutely brilliant place. So informative.
A great educational place to visit. Yet good fun.
Really enjoyed our trip around.
Great to learn about climate change. And sustainability.

Well worth the price!

I wont lie - at nearly £100 to enter for the family, it certainly makes you think, 'Is it worth it?' but on a rainy and cold June Saturday, it certainly was! We spent a good four hours there and could've spent more but the younger kids in the group were getting a bit over it.

Everything is so very well thought out and planned, there is English and French written descriptions of everything with plenty of dual lingual interactive things to do along the way including quizzes etc.

If you're from the UK and thinking it's probably just going to be like another Sea Life Centre, it's NOTHING like that. The scale of it is incredible and it's all been done with care and consideration - it's not one of the places where you start to feel sorry for the animal in captivity.

There's a huge range of exhibits covering all areas of the ocean including the damage humans are doing - the kids in our group knew all about that from school so were quite into that part.

But there's a huge tank you can walk through, sea lions, penguins, sharks, sting rays, tropical fish etc and some really good exhibits on the lesser discovered parts of the oceans and the strange creatures lurking there which captured the kids imaginations because the fish there look like aliens.

We bought our tickets online which helped with the entrance queuing, we chose an 1130 slot but rocked up at 1000 and no one said anything, and we didn't get the audio guide as I always think they're a bit restrictive, but you don't really need it anyway if you can read English or French.

So it can feel a little pricey when you're buying the tickets but it's totally worth it - we took a packed lunch rather than go to the cafe which was so busy!

There's really nothing like it in the UK so definitely add it to your list of things to do in Northern France!

The aquarium we visited was absolutely worth it! Whether you speak French or not, the museum caters to everyone. It's of top-notch quality, with beautifully finished exhibits and informative displays. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the wealth of information provided. A must-visit for anyone interested in marine life or simply looking for an enjoyable and educational experience!

Lovely day out for all the family. Went for a day trip from the UK. Used the eurotunnel to get from Folkestone to Calais. From there, it's a straight forward 30 minute drive to Nausicaa. Spent a good 5-6 hours there and then drove back. The aquarium itself is fantastic and the staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely do this again.

A great family day out while staying in the area. The huge tank where the bulk of the sea-life live can be seen from several places, including from above. We spent around 3 hours there. Parking in the nearby Q-Park Nausicaa is discounted if you're visiting the aquarium.

An excellent attraction with a huge array of marine life.

There are lockers that accept one euro or one pound coins. But they get used up quickly so try to arrive early.

The giant mantaray is the highlight but there are various outstanding examples of marine life from sharks to seals, jellyfish, and much more.

Be warned, there are two main sections, so you might want to arrive early and do one side before lunch at the excellent onsite restaurant. Overall, it takes around 3 - 4hrs to get round unless you want to rush through!

The aquarium is also an educational resource, and has a lot on conservation and the changing world.

Lovely place for a visit, you need around 4 to 5 hours to see everything, the exhibits are wonderful and well spaced out, the large tank is amazing and we spent nearly an hour just watching all of the fish there.

Really nice Aquarium with a lot of diversity in fish. It's only a pitty they keep hold of your personel pasport while you are inside using their audio guide. Too much devices were stolen I guess, but they could have fixed that with a deposit. GDPR they can't just keep pasports in my opninion. But everybody was really friendly!

Incredible aquarium. Easily the best one I've been to in France, and even rivals some I've been to in the US. The large tank which houses the stingrays and sharks and whatnot was definitely the highlight of the aquarium, I could have stayed there for hours just watching. Overall the aquarium was a great experience, lots to see and would definitely go back. Went on a Monday and there was hardly anybody there, with no wait line to get in.

Love this aquarium - been many times. Unfortunately a section was closed for renovation this time but you can tell they really care and look after the animals they have.
