Cognac Normandin-Mercier

Attended on a cruise excursion, loved to hearing how it differs and the aging process. Was lucky enough to try some samples too.

Have never tasted cognac before but what an exceptional tour from Audrey. Totally engaging, humorous, and educational. A fantastic hour spent and ending up tasting some beautiful cognacs. Well worth the trip out to this place.

Just had a guided tour of the family run business and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Marie our guide was very knowledgeable, swapping between English and French. The tasting at the end left a lovely warm feeling inside. There is also a pick up and drop off taxi service from the tourist information in La Rochelle.

A small family cognac manufacture with all types of the spirits. Products not sold in shops worth a visit and an organised tour. Bought some products to take back to England

I was introduced to Normanden Mercier Cognac in 1983 by the Pascal Brothers who owned an outstanding French restaurant in Syracuse, NY. I have been drinking it ever since.

Un très bon moment! L'exploitation est familiale, nous avons pu découvrir en profondeur tous les aspects de la fabrication du Cognac. Notre hôte a passé pas moins d'1h30 avec nous, pour une visite et dégustation passionnante. De très beaux produits, on aimerait pouvoir avoir le portefeuille pour tout s'offrir.

Excellente présentation vivante et lumineuse par une propriétaire exubérante qui communique sa passion avec compétence et chaleur.

J'ai pris la dégustation Paradis, qui donne accès aux meilleurs flacons de la maison, et je n'ai pas été déçue ! La visite est détendue et conviviale, les explications se font en toute transparence. Cela m'a permis d'apprendre des choses que je ne savais pas (je n'en suis pas à ma première visite d'une maison de Cognac !). La dégustation finale permet de remonter jusqu'à une eau de vie de 1976. Un superbe voyage dans le temps.

La dégustation à la fin de la visite nous également beaucoup plu et nous sommes même repartis avec une bouteille !
