A fantastic selection of local wines in every price range. Friendly staff, some are English speaking but all are very friendly. The children corner is very convenient if you want the little ones to entertain themselves while you sample a few wines. Highly recommended!

Must visit and experience if in the area. Great service from friendly knowledgeable team. Opportunity to taste and experience exceptional premium wines through the Atelier or try the wide range of Bergerac wines. My 7 year old daughter loved the dedicated kids area which enabled me to view and enjoy the offerings on display.

It’s true. One of the best wine shops in the region. Huge selection up and down the money scale. They warned me away from shipping some home because of the cost. It’s better to ship from the chateau itself. So good advice.

Went here on my recent trip to the Dordogne. Not only did I taste and buy some great wine, I also took a few bottles of whisky with me that aren't very easy to find in other places. The friendly staff know their stuff and give excellent advice. Love the Kilchoman by the way! Will revisit this place for sure whenever I get the chance.

The staff in the Le Bugue location are truly wonderful. Patient with non-french speakers (or those trying to learn). They are knowledgeable and can direct you to exactly what you want. They have a wide arrange of offerings from wines to Whiskeys and at all price points.

The wine merchant in Le Bugue is beautifully laid out with wines and spirits to suit almost everyone. We asked to sample a medium priced Bergerac and enjoyed the experience. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the variety exceptional. It's definitely a place for the wine drinker to pass an hour or so before deciding on what to buy. I'll be back again before too long.

You won't find a better or wider selection of French and regional wines for miles. Make sure you get a bottle of Eau De Vie Pruneau. Very friendly staff who speak English and offer tastings of the cheaper wines. Highly recommended.

This is my favourite wine store in the world, a true temple to wine where I plan to have my ashes scattered after I'm gone. You can buy a litre of rough vin ordinaire for 1.80 euros or a bottle of Chateau Petrus for 4000 euros, and everything in between. Did I mention they also have on of the best selections of scotch whiskies outside of Scotland, and the vintage Armagnacs?

Despite us arriving for a mooch around the shop at the same time as a classic car club's Tour du Perigord, Julien was very welcoming and helpful. everything a good wine seller should be and more.

Great place to buy and discover new wine, alcohol or other liquor. Staff is very kind - they will help you to suit your needs, you'll find every price for every need in this shop.

New tasting bar is worth a visit in itself, let alone the knowledgeable helpful staff and the amazing selection. Don't miss it!
