Intermarché HYPER Le Bugue

They call it hyper for good reasons. By all means, this is a massive store where shoppers can find everything they want and don't want, where shoppers can easily lose track of time.  This is like walking through the wonderland of groceries. Shelves are colourfully stacked up with all sorts of produces. One are constanstly tempted to buy more than they need. Each specialized section is beautifully arranged and staffed up with competent professionals. Well done! To top it off, prices are competitve, very much aligned with the German brands that operate nearby.
On the plus side, this store opens 7 days a week. And they have a pool of four automated checkouts that is very handy for those with 5 items or less. There is a mailbox by the entrance. There is also a bar where one can relax after an intense shopping session. Job well done. I will come back for the coconut eggs flan.

We would not have really rated intermarche that highly. However, this store has changed all that it was well laid out, well stocked, and very clean. The only thing that let it down were the till queues, which for a Saturday were a bit too long for comfort

Stocks a little of everything for the holiday visitor in addition to the usual supermarket food staples, from clothes and footwear to books and magazines, garden furniture and children's items. Many personal servers supply meats, fresh fish, cheeses and pates. Extensive wine cellar! Free parking.

The staff was friendly and accommodating as we struggle with our French. Order frits and Croque Monsieur 💕

Too big by half so be prepared to spend a lot of time here. But prices are good so also be prepared to be rewarded. I only got a few things and the in front let be cut the line. So I have only good memories.

Great supermarket, lots of good quality food and selection. Chicken is quite pricey compared to the UK but is of good quality.

Obviously a great store designer has spent a lot of time and money upgrading the store.

It now looks clean spacious and efficient.

Great supermarket, everything you need at nice prices!

We stayed at the domain des Fargues and this is the closest large grocery store (12 km). Could find everything we were looking for and ordered a drive pick-up on our arrival day.

Excellent supermarket with friendly staff, with a wonderful boulangerie on the side. Plenty of parking. Bought a 2-kg Comte slab that lasted two months without getting mouldy.
