Aire de camping

A free aire provided outside the fortified town walls, by sports ground, where you can stay 48 hours. It was very busy, over 30 last night and very peaceful sleep as church bells stopped and restarted in the morning. Felt very safe. Well signed with normal motorhome icon. Surface is semi hardstanding and dried mud and level, which looks like may be very muddy if lots of rain. The information board says no emptying, which is confusing as drive over drain, which is clearly used for black and grey waste. Plenty of bins and no water. Lovely, beautiful town to visit with all the shops, bars, launderette and facilities you require. Their is nice walks along the wall top ramparts and outside the city walls in nature and clock tower in side. Their is a pretty park in the walls that has abbey ruins and plenty of childrens play equipment. Lots of cycling and dog walking routes available . Close to port and Belguim and well recommended to visit here

Bergues Motorhome Aire. Brilliant. Found by chance. Would have stayed longer if we hadn't already booked Eurotunnel. Delightful place. No services but large recycling and bin area. Next to walks around town walls. Definitely coming back.

We love this Aires, great place right outside the walls of the fortified town, some lovely restaurants, and bakers here, along with large supermarkets just along the road. Open gravel parking area with plenty of space for at least 30-40 vans, rubbish bins, but no other services. This is often a first stop or last stop from the Eurotunnel if we are heading north or along the northern French borders, and easy 40 min run.

Peaceful and a short walk to the town center. You can use the elsan point at camping Vauban near by. Make sure you take 1€ coins. There is a 5€ fee

Lovely aire, great for an overnight stop or to stop whilst waiting for a late ferry from Dunkirk. Nice and peaceful near a nice lake. Would highly recommend.

Basic aire but ideally suited for a stopover before catching your ferry from Calais or Dunkirk.

Großer kostenloser Stellplatz der Gemeinde Bergues. Mülleimer vorhanden. Nur ein paar Schritte zur Stadtmauer, ins Zentrum und zum Bäcker.

Wir kamen an einem Donnerstag gegen 19 Uhr an, es waren noch ca. drei Plätze frei.

Später haben sich Camper vor den Platz gestellt. Dort steht zwar kein Verbotsschild, aber morgens haben sich da die Schulbusfahrer beim Wenden gequält. Dort sollte man sich nicht hinstellen.

Kostenloser Stellplatz, direkt vor dem sehenswerten Zentrum von Bergues. Der Platz ist einfach, aber eben gut gelegen und koszenlos.
Bergues ist schon dazu geeignet einen ein boßchen zu verzaubern...
