Camping Gwel Kaër

Spent a week in out motorhome at Camping Gwel Kaër. Fabulous location.
Frontline pitches have superb coastal views right on the bay.
On advice we decided to have a sheltered terraced pitch a few rows back that still had lovely views but was not exposed to the wind. Showers & washing up facilities were always hot. Fresh bread & croissants can be ordered the night before. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Fresh herbs are available for free picking.
Note toilets are external & no paper is supplied. Similarly no soap was available in the dispensers. Grass on the pitches could do with cutting. However we really enjoyed our week long stay visiting the surrounding areas.

Lovely small campsite. Very friendly helpful owners Laurence and her son Cedric. Pleasant sea breeze on the end pitches by the sea, more sheltered from the wind and sunnier on the inland pitches. Good clean facilities. Thank you 👍

Very cute campsite with sea view run a very friendly and helpful woman and her equally nice son. You can order baguette and croissants for the next morning so you won’t have to leave for that 👍🏻🥐🥖. Prices are very good for the area and the facilities area clean and well looked after. Small cottages, tent sites and caravan/ Vans sites available.

We stayed here for 1 night last week. It was raining, and we weren't sure if our tent was going to survive the rain that night. I went to the reception and asked if they had a spray to make the tent water resistant, they did not, but the boy from the reception was determined to help us ^^ With some funny google translate conversations (with the help from friends of his as well) he found us a solution. He got us a plastic sheet to put over the tent and we stayed nice and dry for the night :) The camping was nice and quiet and the sanitary was very clean. There were sponges next to the sinks that guests used to clean up the sink after using. Nice showers, toilets with seats avaiable as well👍 Sanitary is mixed but that was no problem at all. Very cheap camping as well! I highly recommend it ^^ We ordered croissants for the next morning and they were very good.

Comfy camping ground with a beautiful view at the sea! Clean sanitary facilities, good price-performance ratio. And, super important: A wonderful and warm-hearted camping host with a 24h-smile on her face!

Very beautiful campingplace with an amazing host and a great view right in front of the bassin where you can collect your own oysters! Very recommandable!!! We will come back for sure!

Brilliant location, terraced pitches with an ever-changing view of the sea. Very clean facilities and very helpful receptionist.

Camping très bien situé. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit malgré le bruit d'une fête jusqu'à 2H du matin. Très bonne accueil, souriant et attentionné.La vue est très belle . Les sanitaires sont propres. Nous reviendrons.

Camping étape de notre semaine à vélo, emplacement parfait, à l’abri du vent avec une vue magnifique. Le bloc sanitaire / douche / laverie est très propre et pratique. Je recommande 👌

Très accueillant, parfait pour un arrêt en vélo. Les locaux sont propres et agréables et la vue du camping est magnifique. Je recommande fortement pour un séjour au Fret.
