Hotel Le Nouveau Monde

Had an absolutely great experience while staying here in March 2023 for 3 nights. Service was outstanding, especially Ian at the front desk. Very helpful with any needs we had. The rooms were spacious, updated and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning with bountiful and delicious. Great location with great views of the water and only a short walk to the heart of St. Malo.

Only complaint would be the room service. Wasn’t the biggest fan of our meals we ordered one night but may just have been us. Regardless would absolutely stay there again and would recommend.

Absolutely love this location. Right by the water, so even if you don't get a room with a water view, you have a thirty second walk to get to it on foot. Clean room. Beautiful, modern bathroom, comfortable bed and linens. Ten minutes walk to the Intramuros and to the train station.

Room service was perfectly serviceable but the continental breakfast spread was great. Special mention to the breakfast staff who always make sure they gave you a table with a view.

All staff was friendly and helpful, definitely recommend visiting their bar to have a delicious cocktail with a view.

I cant say enough wonderful things about this hotel! We went for a luxury family getaway with my parents and baby girl and the team and facilities were just incredible. They didn’t just provide a cot for the baby, they set up a full sized travel crib complete with sleep sack and stuffed animal! There was a changing pad and a baby bath waiting for us in the room as well.
The views from the balcony were unbeatable. The staff were all kind and caring and accommodating with my mother who had mobility issues. They even took heat care of her in the spa!
The meal at their fancy restaurant was delicious, though my only negative comment is that the service from course to course was way too slow, and our two year old fell apart waiting… so my partner and I couldn’t enjoy the rest of the meal properly because we had to take turns getting her to sleep.
Other than that, this place was perfect at every turn and the suites really are luxurious. Huge bathtub, very comfortable bed, seafront views for miles and very easy walk to the old town.
Guests also have free access to the pool and hammam, which we enjoyed a few times.
Lastly, a special shout out for the associated chocoaltier, Carré chocolat around the corner. Paris quality chocolates and pastries!

We love visiting St Malo and this hotel is perfectly placed for the stunning beach Sillon and is only a short walk to the walled city, 15 minutes from the room to the centre at a leisurely stroll.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, luxurious bathroom, comfy bed and we had a balcony with a city view. We also had an interconnecting room for our 8 year old which worked brilliantly. The WiFi was great throughout the hotel too. The only thing we would really have liked would have been fresh bottles of water daily rather than just on arrival.

The bar has interesting and high quality decor, Marven (apologies if I spelt incorrectly) was attentive, professional and engaging as were the other bar staff and the view is amazing you feel like you are on the beach or at high tide swimming :-) The restaurant looks extremely smart, the food and service were outstanding and we also felt it was very good value for the quality of food, service and surroundings.

The check in was very swift and easy and also beautifully appointed with interesting decor and smart furniture. The ladies and gentleman we spoke/dealt with added to the warm, professional and luxurious feeling and the option to park underground took away any concerns about what to do with the car.

Finally the spa, steam room and pool was extremely clean and an oasis of calm....we just wish we could find more time to spend there with so much else to enjoy.

This hotel is wonderful and better than expected.As soon as we entered the hotel the staff came out to greet our arrival, all smiles (especially Ian) who was very helpfull on places and times to visit. The bedroom was very large and quiet and well equiped with excellent bathroom.

Excellent hotel, attentive staff. We had booked one of the penthouse rooms with a large terrace overlooking the bay. Room was well furnished, very quiet, very clean. Breakfast spread is excellent. We had a very pleasant 5-night stay.

Hotel Le Nouveau Monde is beautifully situated right on the coast. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the water. It was well worth the extra money to be able to sit there and take in the breathtaking view. The old walled city is just a 15 minute stroll away. It was nice being a little away from the walled city, which is so cool but was pretty crowded and noisy when we were there. The employees are very nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in room 321 with a sea view, it was such a clean and cozy room! We had a warm welcome from Alice and Malo, they were very professional and helpful to tell us all about the hotel. Breakfast was amazing with great quality products from the region and the atmosphere was very relaxing, kind Damu seated and made us feel welcome in a table with amazing views to the sea! The relaxing area was perfect with a swimming pool and hammam. We definitely had the time of our lives and want to be back for some spa treatments! Thank you to all the staff that made this stay amazing and more importantly Léa Aline, she was the reason we came here! 10/10!!!

View from our balcony was incredible. Breakfast on the balcony and it always came bang on time. We knew the restaurant was good but was even better than expected. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. Less than 5 minutes from room to swimming and a beautiful walk along the beach to the old town. We will return!

Excellent quality hotel. Across the road from a large beach and a 15 minute walk into the walled city with ramparts, shops and restaurants. Our room was excellent with a side view of the beach and a large balcony.

Fantastic comfortable "swanky" hotel at an affordable price and just a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the walled city. Friendly, helpful staff, firm beds, great breakfast buffet, hotel parking, an ocean view and QUIET. Who could ask for anything more? Yes, there is more. Wind down in the evening in the elegant spa, heated pool and sauna. Deserves 5 stars.

my husband and myself stayed at the hotel for 4 nights from 06 April. We cannot praise this hotel too highly. The location, the design and quality of all the services and fittings. not to mention the attention of all the staff (particularly David in the restaurant) and the food! We cannot find anything to criticise! Altogether a thoroughly excellent experience. Keep up the good work!

A fine hotel with excellent facilities and the most helpful staff.

It's our second time in Saint Malo and second time at Nouveau Monde. This hotel offers by far the most spacious rooms I have come across in France. Rooms are new and very well equipped, bathrooms clean and spacious. We have asked for two adjacent rooms and this request was well served. The view of the sea and Sillon beach is amazing, and it is only across the road from the hotel. Despite the noisy road, the windows are sound proof and there were never any disturbance from the outside. The hotel is only a short walk away from the old town

This is a top notch 5 star hotel. The room was spectacular. It even had a small balcony with a table and two chairs and a view of the ocean. The bathroom was very contemporary. Service and staff were excellent.

Just a few minutes' walk to the old town, this hotel is very well staffed and ran smoothly. Breakfast is a bit steep at 20 euro but you should not stay at this hotel unless you are looking to spoil yourself. The massages and spa treatments are a delight but again, quite pricey.

Great location, great hotel, partial sea view rooms (especially ending with 12 or 13 eg 312, 412) are closest to the corner and the views, especially at sunset are fantastic. Room service your cocktail to your balcony and enjoy. Super quiet aircon, complimentary water on arrival. Wish that balconies were non-smoking as well, nothing worse than trying to enjoy the sea, and the fresh air without aircon to have disgusting smoke fill one's room! Would love to stay here again regardless, because it's just fabulous.

My sister and I were so pleased we chose Hotel le Nouveau Monde. We loved the walk to St Malo (very short and just right!) - we walked along the beach at dusk one of the evenings. Our rooms was loved with a side view of the sea and the breakfast was elegant and excellent. We would definitely return!

We loved our stay here! The room was so nice. It was large, modern, great view and nice amenities. The staff was helpful as can be. Great choice in St-Malo!
