Sparkling Tour - Champagne Discovery Tour

We did a full day private Champagne tour with Batiste. It was fantastic! Batiste was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to talk with. It’s easy to tell that Sparkling Tour has developed a great relationship with the Champagne houses we went to. The wines were amazing, and the lunch in Epernay was so delicious. We would not hesitate to book this tour again!

Valentin’s excellent team guided my wife on a private full day tour. We began our day at Ruinart before continuing on to a great lunch and two delicious tasting at smaller, premier cru producers. We learned so much about the methode champenoise, which we hadn’t been exposed to before and came away with an understanding of what blends and grapes we enjoy in our Champagne. I would highly, highly recommend Valentin and Sparkling Tours to anyone seeking to spend a day in the Champagne region.

We had a wonderful half-day champagne tour with Alex. The tour could not have been more perfect! Alex taught us so much about champagne that we did not know. Even my husband, who prefers beer, enjoyed the trip and the champagne. We would highly recommend the Sparkling Tour!

SPECTACULAR!! There are not enough words to express how amazing our tour was with Valentin. We experienced his full day private tour of Reims and Epernay a couple of weeks ago and still cannot stop thinking of how wonderful it was. From the very beginning he was so accommodating when he offered us a date that he previously was not available to beat fit our schedule. He customized the tour to allow us to experience two small champagne houses and one famous one so that we could experience the differences. He picked us up at the train station, whisked us away to Veuve Cliquot followed by a tour of the abbey where Dom Perignon worked and is buried. He then took us to a gorgeous vineyard to see the vines and enjoy a wonderful bottle of champagne he provided. From there we had a wonderful 3-course lunch followed by two smaller champagne houses in the heart of Epernay. He provided extensive education on the champagne making process and there we sampled three different bottles at each house. The experience at each of the small houses was wonderful, private tour and interaction with owners and other employees who made us feel like long lost friends. He returned us to Reims and Tom to tour the cathedral and enjoy and early evening cocktail before our train. If you are considering booking a tour of Reims or Epernay I can’t recommend Valentin and sparkling tours more highly. You will feel like royalty ❤

Fantastic way to learn about champagne and the region. The guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The tour was focussed on smaller producers and it was a great experience. I’d happily recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and see a bit of Champagne.

We did the afternoon half-day champagne tour with Christophe and it was incredible!!! Christophe was so hospitable and extremely knowledgeable about the region. The Champagne Houses warmly welcomed us and had delicious champagne. Truly a must-do if you visit the region- and I cannot recommend Christophe enough as a guide! Thank you!!

We had a great time with Valentin this past weekend! He was very responsive from the beginning and always happy to answer any of my many questions while planning. The tour itself was magnificent. I didn't even realize there was that much to learn about champagne! I planned for a group of 11 people and everyone was so thrilled and happy with the tour. Everyone felt like it was the best and most informative tour they've been on. If you want lots of compliments from your friends, book this tour for your group!

I would like to give Valentin 10 stars !! We had a group of 12 and he planned two days of tastings for us and we had the absolute BEST time. I really don't have words for how great this experience was for our group. We did a mix of big and small houses and the wine was superb and he is so fun and has so much knowledge about the area. I cannot recommend this tour more !! Seriously -- if you are even remotely considering it please book a tour with this company. Thank you Valentin for the most perfect two days !!!

Valentin was an amazing tour guide. He was super friendly and really informative, I have definitely left the tour with alot of into that can't be found from a Google search! The places we visited each had a different take on champagne making which was highly insightful. I would definitely recommend this if you're in the beautiful champagne region. Thanks again Valentin!

Anna our guide was incredible; so knowledgeable and we learned a lot about champagne. Throughly enjoyed our tastings and the history behind each house. Anna also recommended some places in Reims to each and drink which ended up being our favourite places we visited!

Valentin was a knowledgeable gentleman who patiently explained the process behind producing champagne. We learnt a lot about varieties of champagne and the differences between smaller and larger producers. We tasted some fantastic champagne and Valentin helped us to define what characteristics we preferred. We would definitely recommend a tour. Make sure you eat a big lunch before and maybe take some water to avoid falling asleep on the journey home!

We had a blast on our half day, small group tour. Transportation was comfortable, your guide was knowledgeable and we had a lovely afternoon!

My wife and I just got back from Reims France and booked a few days with Sparkling tours. Valentin, the owner was EXTREMELY knowledgeable of the region and the wineries we visited. He custom built a tour based on our preferences. We had an amazing time, drank some excellent wines and ate amazing food. We have visited most major wine regions of the world and have always booked at least a day or two with a touring company like this. Sparkling Tours was the best overall experience we have had!
