Camping de la Côte d'Argent

We took the kids during the UK spring half term, so the venue wasn't busy. Although, given the size of the place, you don't need a crystal ball to imagine how busy it might get during the peak season. Everywhere was clean, with well laid out facilities covering all aspects you'd expect from a Eurocamp; a good sized restaurant, small supermarket, pool area and kids splash park with slides, to name a few. The campsote sits beneath tall pine type trees that provide ample shade from the hot sun. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach and village, where surf shops and reasonably priced, well cooked sea food eateries, and ice cream stalls await your custom. Beyond, huge sand dunes welcome you and cold Atlantic waves, perfect for those who surf or kite surf, call to those who need the fix. Marvelous place, clean, organized, kid clubs and wonderful staff. Special thanks to all pro-dancers/kid club instructor, they are awesome with kids and their show every night worth any penny.

The 5 stars camping really worth it. You can literally live here without going outside. Everything is available. Close attractions are good as well (lake, karting, paddle...etc) the nature is preserved and people are lovely.

Top class holiday campsite. Pools, water park, beach, surfing, eating and more. All on yhe door step. Full of Germans or brits.

Nice buzz in the resort. Beach is amazing.

It's an expensive place and they do well at getting you to spend. But one of our best holidays in France yet.

Good size pitches for tourers and tents. Blocks are well serviced.

Absolutely amazing holiday! The facilities and staff were great, and the beach (only 10min walk) is probably the best beach I have been on.

Very large campsite with shaded/unshaded pitches. Reception very helpful in identifying suitable pitches for motor home. Excellent facilities for children and short walk to excellent beach. Good cycling routes within short distance. Sanitary blocks kept very clean. Remote location but small convenience store at entrance to site.

We have been visiting this campsite for 6 years every year. The new management has surprisingly improved things that were already by most standards a 4-5 star campsite with excellent customer service and hardwork to solve problems and make the camping experience great for everyone from all ages and different cultures and backgrounds. This is a real international campsite with so many different nations living together it’s really unique!

When we ask our kids where they fancy going on holiday, their response is always "the Camping de la Cote d'Argent". A fantastic location perfectly situated between the ocean and a huge lake, you can surf in the morning and sail in the afternoon. The campsite itself has seen major upgrades over the years and the facilities are second to none. Pitches are very generous so plenty of room for our caravan and teenager's tents. Aminities include a small supermarket, a restaurant, a takeaway, games room, wine shop and the very popular swimming pool complex. The beach is 100m away and there are fantastic cycle lanes all around. Perfect!

Me and my family had an amazing holiday here! The weather was beautiful, the kids absolutely loved the swimming area, with the slides etc, they didnt want to get out. The onsite food was delicious. Enjoyable night entertainment for both adults and children. 5 min walk to a glorious beach. Perfect location for a family friendly relaxed holiday.

Really good camping. 10 minutes walk from the sea. The bathrooms are always clean. A really nice swimming pool with glides for children. Unfortunately in the beginning of July the camping is a bit calm. But that also has its positieve sides.

Good on site facilities, great pool area with slides, and lots of other onsite activities for kids, has entertained our kids for 2 weeks. Pizzas from the on site restaurant are very good. There are a number of nice restaurants within walking distance in hourtin plage plus a superb beach.

Fab place for a 2 week break. Play areas for the kids, beach 10 min walk,, small shops and restaurants within walking distance, off road cycling routes right outside the park and a fresh water lake and port within 15 mins drive (or 45 minn cycle if your up for it).

Awesome camping in such a well run resort. Tonnes of activities laid on. Totally recommend 👌

A fabulous location 300mts from the beach. The facilities are excellent with a terrific pool area with water slides. Certainly a 5* campsite one of the best that we have stayed on in 14 years.

Large and excellent camping space. Aqua park with water park included. Swimming pools for relaxing but without a swimming lane. Camping area with mobile homes and between them lot of camping space. Pine wood area, sometimes sandy spaces.

Amazing camping, clean facilities, amazing swimming pool (though no shorts allowed), amazing beach to swim and surf in. The area is great for cycling and jogging, but when you want to enjoy the night life there isn't much to do other than the 2 bars that stay open till 2a.m.

An impressive, well run campsite. Half a mile from the beach, pool and slides on site. Other amenities include, bar/restaurant, gym, games room, pool, table tennis.

Fantastic place to visit. Kids loved the pool. So did the adults. Great surf spot and always clean and tidy.
