Parc du Contades

It seems lively for there are activities planned, but even without them and especially with Nani, it is a relaxing place.

Nice park. Idyllic setting by the side of Aar river. Suitable for elderly people as well as for children.

I love the gazebo (I love gazebos). Really great for group pictures.
On Hannukah, the Chabad community usually lights a giant Hannukiah there and the (comsistorial, not Chabad; theirs is at the Meinau) synagogue's side wall is illuminated. There's also an ice cream parlour/restaurant nearby if that's your thing. There are also swings and other games for children inside the park itself.

Amazing park, super kids friendly, calm area

This is the most beautiful and underrated park in Strasbourg. Yes, better than l'Orangerie. Parc des Contades is such a gorgeous and peaceful place to be, it is hard to put it into words. It is not over-crowded, it is clean and because of its hidden gem location, not everybody knows about it. If you like parks, walks, playing frisbee, runs - this park is the place to be.

Green and big. Great place to rest or for kids of any age to play. including separate playgrounds for different age groups.
