Hostellerie des Châteaux & Spa

Ideal hotel for anyone looking to relax in beautiful Alsace countryside. It’s close to Obernai, close to local mountain paths and numerous vineyards. The hotel amenities are superb: spa, pools, saunas, jacuzzi.

Had the most amazing time at Hostellerie des Chateaux with my husband. Had chosen this place to celebrate my birthday. We got a room with a beautiful view into the village and the horizon. Though charged extra they were able to arrange a bouquet, a cake to make my birthday special. The service during breakfast and especially dinner was outstanding. The staff showed great attention to detail and truly made us feel welcome. Where do I start about the food?! Each day indeed was a gastronomical treat with a 4-5 course meal ranging from the most simple to complex flavours all blending in beautifully.They were so kind to accomodate my request to make a few dishes vegetarian too. We also took full advantage of the spa there which was indeed a great attraction with a lot of sauna rooms, hamama, indoor heated pools with dynamic waterjets. We felt so relaxed after this weekend and hope to make it a ritual to go here every year.

We stayed at this hotel ( residence which is a 150m walk to the main building) for 3 nights. We were allowed to make use of all the hotel facilties. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable.

Service at this hotel is very friendly and good. The breakfast is fantastic, dinner is good with different menus every night and they also offer a nice selection of Elzas wine. Great location with several hiking trails starting nearby including the hike to mount St. Odile.

Welness area is great, with a lot of different saunas and 3 different pools. Only negative is that in the sauna area there are quite a lot of people that wear their bathing suits in the sauna and do not sit on a towel. For the rest our stay was fantastic.

Fantastic experience in Alsace France. This hotel has a number of luxury rooms that are like a mini wellness on its own. The spa and swimming pools are modern and an oasis after a day of hiking or biking. The restaurant is an absolute blessing. Hallelujah! Our expectations were moderate but we received pure excellence, 6 days in a row. Wine card is expensive but the creators made a fantastic selection so every wine is top rated. I checked many on vivino. Also friendly staff.

Great place to stay. The village is lovely. The hotel is beautiful. Very charming rooms. Food is top and the spa is very comfortable. The staff is super friendly. I was there with my family and we enjoyed it.

Great place for pure relaxation. Spa facilities and massage pools and quiet rooms and the evening dinner here was of excellence. The chef created a vegetarian menu for us for each day. 4- 5 courses- really innovative.

A great hotel with one of the biggest sauna- and spa worlds in Alsace. The hotel breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic and so is the interior of the newly refurbished restaurant. Restaurant is pricy but offers exquisite international menu prepared by top chef and chef students and sommeliers. Study the French gastronomy and wine here! this is really close to the monastery of St Odile where you can track before enjoying the spa and magnificient dinner. Room deco varies a lot, depending whether the rooms have already been renovated.

We are family of 5 and have spent there 3 nights. Everything is just perfect: the rooms are big and clean , the breakfast was wow and the staff people are very polite and helping.
And the spa area..oh!! We have enjoyed it so much! We r so happy we have choose this place for our starting point of vocation in alsace. Thank you.

A wonderful place with far too much to do in just one day there. We enjoyed everything about our stay, the place itself and the pools and spas, the staff, the food, everything was great. Looking forward to going back next year.

It's a very cosy Hotel with great wellness area. It's 100% worth a visit. Especially should you visit the neighborhood with the old buildings.
Breakfast is big but also great.
Without car it is difficult.
