Big Thank You to the entire team at Hotel & Restaurant l’Ami Fritz. We had our dinner on two occasions during our holiday in Alsace and we visited many local cafés and restaurants - this one is definitely exceptional, food is absolutely delicious and best quality, the staff is very nice and the outside dining atmosphere is simply a breathtaking experience. We cannot wait to visit Ottrott again.

If you could paint a classic Alsacian Restaurant, a „Winstub“, with its wooden ceilings and such typical well aged interior designs, you would surely paint L‘Ami Fritz in Ottrott. Somewhere situated halfway between Colmar and Strasbourg. The food is sheer delight. Classic French cooking, Alsacian style. No chi-chi, no bowing to cheap touristy thrills, cooked exactly the way it should be in those rare places, where tradition rules supreme. We loved the Foie Gras, which would have done any Michelin starred restaurant justice. The Quenelles De Brochet and the Coer De Ris Et Rognons De Veau were simply excellent. The hardest part was what to choose from a highly engaging menue, special attention must be given to the daily changing menues. A superb wine list complement the heartwarming experience wonderfully. We must commend the very reasonable prices, especially when one considers the quality of the dishes offered. The service was quiet and impeccable. In the summer the garden looks very inviting. What a intimate and joyful place to have a great Alsacian meal!

It is a great place to see,the restaurant is great,good food ,very chic ,extremly clean,people working here seems very happy and good professionals,i really reccomand to all of you! I have eaten a good choucroute au canard and eating a cookie super delicious called: Paris Brest.very chic,i adore this restaurant!

Wir haben hier vier Tage verbracht, um die schöne Umgebung zu erkunden und geniessen. Das Team des Hotels haben wir als sehr zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich kennengelernt! Wir können dieses schöne Hotel also uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen! Herzlichen Dank!

Zu Fuß unterwegs, bei der gebuchten Unterkunft niemand erreichbar und zum Glück in diesem Paradies gelandet und auch noch ein Zimmer bekommen. Tolles Zimmer, hervorragendes Abendessen unter alten Bäumen, aufmerksamer Service. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren im Restaurant. Lecker gegessen- das Menu war toll. Ein gelungener Abend. Erst dachten wir der Keller ist die Abstellkammer, aber dort war es viel ruhiger als oben.

Hôtel calme, dans une rue pittoresque d’Ottrot. La Chambre Romantique (3 couchages) est spacieuse pour 2, avec wc séparé de la salle de bain.
Le restaurant est chaleureux, le service impeccable et les mets savoureux. Parking sécurisé et facile d’accès.
L’ensemble du personnel est professionnel.
Nos 4 nuits n’ont eu aucun défaut.

Arrêt sur le retour dans ce restaurant Les plats sont faits maison. La joue de porc et le saumon étaient délicieux.

Wir haben mit Freunden und Familie einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt gehabt. Danke für die feine Küche, den aufmerksamen Service und die schöne Deko. Man sieht, dass viel Liebe dahinter steckt.

Wir haben mittlerweile mehrfach das Restaurant besucht.
Über das Hotel kann ich keine Beurteilung abgeben.
Das Restaurant hat ein sehr gehobenes Niveau in einem stilvollen, ländlichen Ambiente. Wir haben unser Menü unter dem Riesigen Baum vor dem Hotel an einem sehr fein gedeckten Tisch eingenommen. Die Küche ist französisch mit einem kleinen internationalen Touch und geht von klassisch elsässisch bis hin zu gehobenen Kreationen. Die Weinkarte bietet eine breite Auswahl für jeden Geschmack und jedes Portemonnaie.
Der Chef de Restaurant geht seinen Job mit einem guten Anteil Humor an hinter dem er seine hohe Professionalität jedoch nicht verstecken kann.
Für uns immer mal wieder einen schönen Sonntags oder Feiertagsausflug von der Südpfalz ins romantische Ottrott nahe Colmar am Rande der hohen Vogesen.
Tipp: Auch bei den Elsässern ein sehr beliebtes Restaurant. Deshalb unbedingt vor reservieren, ganz gleich zu welcher Jahreszeit .
