Brilliant lake and forest with a great path to go round with family, friends, pets or on your own. The only thing is it can be a bit muddy and there aren't fences all around so be careful.

About an hour’s walk around this beautiful lake, a former volcano (which actually is two lakes superimposed). Track mostly flat and easy to do in sneakers. Great views to lake along the way. Access and car parking close to start point. Public toilets available - clean at the time we were there.

The walk is easy, and it takes about 1h walk to walk around it.
For your information it was a volcano before and the lake is very deep ±100m!
You can't swim in it

If you are a nature lover and you like to spend your time amidst water, trees and rock, then there is no better place. All around the lake, there is a place for a stroll but is hardly visible to the naked eyes. This is a picturesque location for any photography lover. Boating is also available for a nominal cost. Only setback is the unavailability of a shelter in case of an unprecedented downpour or a kids play area, so, plan accordingly.

A wonderful volcanic crater lake, don’t be put off by the busy parking and take the time to walk around the lake to the view point on the far side. Definitely worth a visit!

Great walk around the lake, lovely views, followed by nice warm drinks at the local inn. There's also a route to Lac Montcinere from the path around the lake

Pretty volcanic crater lake with a nice easy walk around. Can't swim in the lake though, it's protected.

Peaceful place

Un lac très accessible, belle balade autour du lac qui vous permettra de le découvrir sur toutes ses coutures ! La balade peut parfois paraître scabreuse avec ses rochers mais pas longtemps et surtout facile si vous êtes prudents.

Magnifique en automne. Calme. Chemin faisant le tour aménagé mais pas pour les poussettes. Attention avec les très jeunes enfants car les côtés sont pentus, mais le chemin est large donc sécurisant quand même.

Très jolie lac de cratère, 750m de circonférence pour 92m de profondeur.
Impressionnant le faite de savoir qu'il y a une partie avec de l'oxygène et l'autre non.
2.9km de ballade depuis le parking avec le tour du lac. Très accessible, pas en poussette cependant et quelques endroits humide.

Certainement le plus beau lac de la région.
Faire le tour à pied vous prendra un peu moins d'une heure
Conseil : une bonne paire de basket et évitez les poussettes la piste étant tout de même bien pratiquable elle reste relativement accidenté par endroit.
