It was an amazing experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. So much history and amazing art to see. The Louvre building is incredible, it took 800 years to build. The architecture is breathtaking, I highly recommend this. Purchase a tour so you can skip the line.

What can be said, you need to visit once in your life. Obviously, Mona Lisa is the main attraction, but oh dear, there are so many great exhibitions. Can easily spend a whole day wandering around!

Please read below!
-Buy your tickets in advance!
-If there’s a chance of rain bring appropriate gear as you queue outside to get in.
-Ensure you have several hours free!
-Download the map, it’s a life saver
-plenty of food and drink at all price ranges available inside.
-toilets are few and far between in the main wings, and the toilets in the main entrance get VERY busy, especially the ladies.
Audio guides available and recommended. If you want to see the famous Mona Lisa get in as early as possibly and head straight there! We did and got to the front for a fantastic view of the lady herself and it really made our day!

Be warned in advance this place is HUGE. We were there for 4hrs and still didn’t manage to see everything to its fullest extent. We bee lined to all our favourites and must sees. And then enjoyed the rest of the venue and a more gentle pace.

Simply stunning , we’d love to go again one day!
Highly recommend.

One day is just not enough to take in all of the beauty this museum has to offer. It is huge and well worth the money.
I am happy it was not crowded because it is January and I hope to come back in the future the explore all the things I did not have time for today. Lovely.

Beautiful, Lots of Stuff Inside that you would need at least 2 days to really take it in, but we were in there about 6 hours and had a good scan of most the exhibitions. Buying tickets online is a MUST. Mona Lisa was the cherry on Top.

Best experience ever.
INFO:
you should wear something sport since you need to walk very much. And walk according to the map to not be lost and to have a look on all the museum.
Enjoy this amazing museum.

The epitome of a world-class institution focused on art and culture. I have been here many times and still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of the immense collection of incredible art. A joy to visit and a must see location for anyone visiting Paris!

A great place, a must-see in Paris. I recommend buying tickets in advance, and if you're under 26, entry to the museum is free. The Louvre is so much more than the Mona Lisa. This museum has a lot to offer, so you'd better spend a few hours there

We did the tour called “Another Louvre.” We were able to use the entrance for tours instead of the general entrance so the line was not long at all! We used the free lockers to store our coats. We were there early enough that the bathrooms in the main entrance were not too busy. Before the tour you give one ID per ticket (so one ID for the two of us) for headphones to hear the tour leader. We then went to a nice room to wait for the entire tour group before heading out for the tour. We got an awesome short history lesson by the tour leader while waiting. This tour focused on the sculpture garden and some of the smaller portraits and religious artworks. After the tour we stayed for another hour to see the Crown Jewels and the Mona Lisa.

I know most people go to the Louvre for Mona but there are actually many more beautiful things in the Louvre than Mona (rest assured that all roads will lead you to Mona). Booking tickets in advance is recommended and you go down to the museum so you don't have to queue - it's exit 6 (if I remember correctly) when you exit metro 1. The museum's website has enough languages to Please refer before coming.
They also have maps and necessary equipment at the reception so you don't get lost, that's right, you didn't read that wrong because the possibility of getting lost in the Louvre is entirely possible.
The Louvre is a large museum, but the walkway signage is really ineffective. The proof is that I go back and forth in the same area several times and it makes me tired. You should also accept the fact that you can't explore this whole museum in one day (or can you?) but I felt exhausted after nearly 4 hours surrounded by works of art. And there are areas where there are almost no visitors (it's quite scary being alone in a large space).
And of course, your tickets are free if you are under 26 years old and living and studying in Europe! Anyway, I hope you have a good experience.
P/s: They have super spacious coat and furniture rooms to make your visit even more stress-free

Beautiful! We were a bit concerned whether we would need to stay in the queue for ages, and might not even get in before the closure, but everything was so well organized, we stayed about 10- 15 min only. The museum itself is absolutely massive, whole day is not enough to see even half of that, we will be coming back definitely. Even children enjoyed there. Great experience! P.S. when you walk around, don't forget to look at the ceiling too.

Loved it! It's a must see if you're in Paris. We reserved a time slot a day before, but still had to wait in line another 10 minutes so it got delayed, but besides that you have everything inside: art, cafè, restaurant, toilets, art boutique.

Highly recommend this spot for art enthusiasts! Be aware, it's shut on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly. Returning soon for another glimpse of the Mona Lisa. Ensure to secure your tickets early to avoid lengthy queues – my last visit involved a 20-minute wait on a scorching day, but the experience was well worth it.

Great experience! If you’re EU citizen between the age of 18 and 24 don’t forget to get your FREE tickets. You should purchase the tickets beforehand on the official Louvre site and then when you get there they will wake you to show ID for proof. Be careful cause there are a lot of fake sites though. I suggest going at least 20/30 minutes earlier, find the carousel underground entrance and stay in line in there cause it could be faster. :)

Biblical art was absolutely breathtaking, gigantic beautiful pieces which looked magnificent in person. Without a doubt the highlight of the Louvre.
The Mona Lisa is, as expected, nothing special, but I highly highly recommend going to see it as the walk there is packed with gorgeous biblical art, and the room it’s in is also filled with this.

Didn’t expect much, and was a bit surprised. It’s a nice experience with many many art pieces, among other things. It was pretty crowded and quite hard to navigate, but it’s expected for it’s size and popularity. Also, As an EU student under 25, the entrance was completely free, which is insane and thanks to France or whoever did that.

No matter how many times you go, this museum will always worth the visit.
You will find it crowded in any season you visit it so don’t expect to see the exhibitions with few people.

I totally recommend buying ticket in advance and will a week of anticipation because the closer you get to the visit day, the less occupation you will find. If you don’t want to
Buy it in advance, at least in low season you can get in the line and buy tickets there (the waiting time will be 30 minutes - 1 hour).

Use confortable clothes and shoes because is a very large museum so you will have to walk a lot.

There are restaurants inside but they will always be full of people waiting in the line.

You can buy souvenirs (t-shirts, post-cards, magnets, pencils, pens, books, puzzles, tote bags, toys, etc.)

Thee are lockers in there and for free.

I suggest you going from the opening because you will have more time to enjoy the museum.

Amazing experience, so big , a tour would be advised if interested in history and art , also so you can skip the long lines. The line inside the shopping center ( carousel de Louvre) is indoors and usually much shorter.

Absolutely the trip to make in Paris. Well worth the wait and all the people.
Take a snack, comfortable shoes and be prepared for a long day if you wish to see all.

The Louvre Museum is a must-go place when you visit Paris! Although the queue is long, the moving speed is fast. We purchased the tickets online and queued for just 5 minutes to enter the museum.

We were amazed by the art and the amazing sculptures inside the museum. The museum is spacious with several floors featuring different types of art and themes. We spent nearly 4 hours here.

Due to it being winter, it is less crowded compared to summer.

Overall, it is definitely worth visiting once in your life.

If you like art or history, go check it out!
