Camping Sous Les Étoiles Normandie

A magical little campsite with fantastic services by all staff. The bar restaurant was outstanding and the level of service was beyond what we expected at a campsite. Fantastic friendly atmosphere. Thank you so much to Steve and crew for making 4 motorbike campers so welcome. Will definitely return to explore more that part of Northern France and the Bocage. Thank you

Amazing campsite! We stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much we will return. Showers/toilets were very clean and maintained. We all enjoyed the food at the restaurant especially the French bbq and pasta evening . Staff are always friendly, helpful and of course the owners work tirelessly to maintain the high standard of this campsite. We’ve already recommended you to our camping friends and our daughter(6) has already asked when we will be back.

We stayed for the month of July, all of it, and loved every minute. Fantastic campsite. Welcoming owners and staff. Lovely restaurant and bar area. Without doubt, the best toilet and showers on any site. Large and private pitch. Great value for money. Local area has plenty of thing to do and see, with more attractions a little further afield, but easily accessible. We agreed the Camping Sous les Étoiles is the best site we have stayed on, anywhere. It’s just perfect.

Superb campsite. Excellent facilities, wonderful staff. Quiet, clean, well run. Good restaurant, shop and laundry facilities. The attention to detail is what made it my favourite campsite of the summer in Normandy (July 24).

Never having camper vanned before this was a great first experience. Fab hosts, great facilities, good little restaurant / bar. And the pitches were really well laid out with easy access to water & elec. Most importantly, the showers were excellent - plenty of warm water in roomy private cubicles. Wash room was also clean and light. All good.

A great site which we use annually. The environment is well maintained and serviced. Steve & Dawn are consummate hosts. The pitches of various sizes and aspects are all serviced accordingly and the bar / restuarant is open through a long season with a menu varies daily. The location is just a 10 minute stroll into the village which has local shops, gas and a couple of bars. Equally good for long stays or stopovers. We love it here . . don't change a thing !

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in July at the end of a small tour in our wee. Camper van. Loved everything about the site. Nice well spaced pitches, pristine and well designed sanitation block, warm welcome, a small restaurant and bar where we ate both nights, lovely staff and wifi that actually works! Good location for the local attractions. There has been a lot of effort put into this site and it shows.

D-day week, so very busy, but great fun.
Food- Burgers we're incredible.
We we're going to travel down to Bordeaux, but decided to go back to this site. They were very accommodating and found us a pitch for two more nights, before we needed to travel back to the UK.
Would recommend.

A fantastic campsite with local charm, great atmosphere, lots of space, nice little restaurant, clean and really nice facilities. Dogs are also welcome, which is really cozy. We will definitely come back and also recommend to anyone going to the Normandy. Great place and host couple - fantastic value for money

We had a wonderful 10 days at this beautiful campsite, we were so well looked after. The pitches are a great size in lovely surroundings, the showers and toilets are spotless and there is a lovely bar and restaurant on site. What more could you ask for?

Tremendous campsite and one of the best I have stayed at in France.

Facilities are excellent and it has some great touches like cooking facilities, access to a fridge/freezer etc.

Good cafe / bar where you can get a morning Nespresso as well as beer and food in the evening.

Very pretty setting in an old farm house, with plenty of open space. There is a little road noise if you really try to hear it but it’s not in any way intrusive.

The site is located close to Normandy, not far from the main road through the area, giving easy access for touring caravans and camper-vans. The pitches are nice and big, water access on most pitches and electric hookup available. Friendly staff, great facilities, dog walk near by, perfect for a stop over or an extended stay 👍

Lovely campsite. Very clean facilities and very helpful staff. We stayed here 2 nights at the start of our holiday and immediately booked to stay for 2 nights at the end. Nice food. Very relaxing.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was the best camping out of 4 sites, on our trip through France.
VERY nice bathrooms and showers.
We will definitely come back here, if we are to visit France again.

Excellent boutique type feel to this well placed campsite. Excellent bar/ restaurant area with glorious food served. Large beautiful pitches with excellent facilities not to mention the exceptionally friendly staff....

Lovely campsite, spacious pitches, quiet, brilliant bar/food, games room, excellent showers, great for our family (kids age 8+11) and our friends with their 2 year old. Space to rest+play and stars each night.

Large pitches for tents and camper vans .small pitches for bikers.
Small kitchen area for campers to use .
Bar at reception and small selection of food.
Very good toilet block with Powerful showers.

Excellent campsite paying a lot of attention to detail. Restaurant- small menu but good - decent local burgers, nice draught beer. Friendly attentive staff.
Wonder if there are plans to provide more toilet/shower provision!

We stayed for a week with our two young kids and had one of the best camping experiences ever. Not only is the site well maintained and very pretty, the on-site restaurant is a step above your usual campsite fare, with some of the best beef burgers and chicken we’ve ever had. A great selection of beers, food and desserts means we ate there every night! There’s also a helpful small shop, a games room and sparkling clean toilets and shower facilities. It’s worth nothing that the restaurant courtyard is a fantastic place to relax while eating, with outdoor table tennis and cornhole games for the kids to enjoy. Oh, and the wifi is excellent and easily reached our tent. Honestly can’t rate Camping Sous Les Etoiles highly enough!
