Nice place in Fronsac . By the road , but terrace at the back . Food freshly prepared . Starters / desserts €8/10 , mains €16/19 , plat du jour €24 . Service was prompt and friendly . I would recommend.

Great food, a little bit different to your classic French south west cuisine with some exciting flavours. The trout and prawn starter was one of the best dishes I have eaten for years. Even compared to more expensive places. Excellent service and atmosphere. Would definitely go back, keep up the good work.

What a surprise it was to find this wonderful restaurant in an unexpected place. It was the only open restaurant around so we did not have much of a choice and we really lucked out.

The patio out back has great vibes and the hospitality was excellent.

The food was unbelievable. I’ve been all over France for a month, eating at a lot of great restaurants, but I think the attieke at Bistro Pharell is the best dish I had during the entire trip.

What a charming place with amazing food! If it hadn’t been closed the next day, we would have come back again. It was that good.

This place is full of pleasant surprises! Trust me, you will not regret stopping by as we did not, as our lunch meal was really excellent. We recommend the fish dishes, especially the main with couscous.

Amazing food and friendly staff.

Very delicious food! It was so nice to have a meal that was delicious and not just butter and cream. The tuna was perfectly cooked and served on a fresh bed of veggies and rice. The brioche désert was unbelievable. And the couple that run it are super lovely and nice! I would definitely recommend it and it deserves all of the great reviews.

WOW. The food here is exceptional. We were in Libourne for tasting and not expecting a ton from the small city. But Bistro Pharell is world class! It is the best meal we have had all trip. We had the seafood 2 ways, the Mafo (Sengalese Chicken), flan, and ice cream. The salmon was well crusted and perfectly cooked. The shrimp was so juicy and we'll grilled. The sauce on the chicken was unreal. All in exceptional. We can't wait to come back!

We ate here at the end of August and I didn't get round to giving them a review till now. It was really something. Unexpected and familiar: the mixture of African spices and French techniques and in the case of the Caesar Salad the best our friends had tasted. The tuna I had was delicate and respectful but with a mist of unusual flavours. The deserts were also memorable. And all that with a kind and friendly and relaxed service. Sorry to take so long to recommend it, but you see, I still remember how good and unusual it was. Good luck to them, the young couple running it!

Lovely food from the menu de jour. When I visited, Mauritian chicken was on the menu and it was top. Was offered an optional pot of spice to heat it up, which was nice attention to detail.

Wonderful food,wonderful service from very heartwarming people. We really enjoyed our lunch there just enjoying the pleasant atmosphere the owners have created.

The food was sooo good. While it took us a minute due to the language barrier, our server was very patient and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very warm welcome, excellent meals, tasty desserts. Highly recommendable! This charming restaurant in a small village near Bordeaux is much better than a lot of other restaurants in big cities that I went to. If you are nearby Fronsac do not miss out on this one.

Amazing little restaurant. We had Serrano ham and burrata to start and seared tuna and pork ribs for main. Incredible food, simple but super tasty. Service was great.
