Chez Alain

When you arrive at the Trouville fish market stands, it can be hard to choose or differentiate between the different stalls to eat oysters as they all look the same. We went to Chez Alain as it was the busiest and it didn’t disappoint! Very friendly true “french” staff that was happy to help us in our choices. Everything was fresh, loved the oysters of course and the big shrimps were incredible. The amandes and palourdes were nice but not so much worth it. What was different Chez Alain was also their mayonnaise which had a traditional taste to it.

I love this place and I miss it. The friendly and talkative staff left a positive impression on me. Their impressive selection of crustaceans allows you to make your choice right in front of you. The option to sit at tables with a view, observing pedestrians while enjoying a diverse range of wines, adds to the experience. There's no overpowering smell of the sea, and the ambiance feels remarkably clean. We shared a dish that featured over six distinct types of seafood.
So yum!

Great experience! You pick your seafood from the market desk and they serve it on ice for you. Bring your own baguette from the bakery next door!

If you are in Trouville make sure to go there at 12 sharp and get the most delicious seafood platter!

The place to be

On a passé un excellent moment avec mon épouse, le service est au top, personnel souriant et très sympathique. Les fruits de mer sont fraîches et délicieux. Bravo à toute l’équipe et à très bientôt.

Nous nous sommes régalés chez Alain autour d’une dégustation de fruits de mer. On nous a trouvé une table rapidement, le service est jovial et convivial. On a passé un excellent moment. Coup de cœur pour les langoustines et crevettes qui étaient exceptionnelles et la soupe de poissons.

Cadre super agréable une vrai dégustation en poissonnerie, Je recommande vivement en plus le personnel est super sympa de bon vivant !
