Domaine de la Chevrue "muscadet - nantais"

We stayed in our camper in January 2024 and loved our visit - we were made to feel very welcome. They have everything you need - good showers, waste disposal and the pitches are a good size. We also loved the wine tasting - Penelope took us through all the wines and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the Muscadet and would highly recommend this place , whether to visit for the wines or to stay. Excellent!

Have just spent an amazing three nights camping at a winery in Vertou just outside of Nantes completely free of charge.

The hospitality shown by the family that own this winery is second to none, you are welcomed with a wine tasting, free water and electricity and plenty of room to let the dogs run in the vines.

The wine is delicious, especially the muscadet that is the speciality of the region, and at €4 a bottle is very reasonably priced and worth every penny.

There is also a market in the town of Vertou (5km away, 20 min bike ride) on a Saturday and Sunday with LOADS of local produce on offer and a bar on site that offers local wines for €1 a glass.

If you are ever passing through Nantes (which is very limited in terms of overnight camping spots) I can’t recommend visiting Yannick and his family on this winery enough.

This is a great place the owners are such nice people and they have great wine. They are very welcoming to campers and you can park in the garden for free. Shower and toilet available too.

We had a great time tasting all the wines and having a good chat about many things. Awesome company, will definitely return.

We found this absolute gem of a place on P4N. Yannick has to be the most generous and hospitable host we have come across whilst in our motorhome. Who also speaks faultless english.
It is an ideal stop when travelling north/south.
Just be careful when he starts plying you with his "friendly wine" :-)
We ended up buying a selection of most of his wines (15 in total)
Will definitely be back when next in the area

We arrived here quite by accident really on our trip up to Cherbourg to sail home after a great touring holiday. What a surprise! Lovely courtyard with hook up shower and toilet! Lovely evening with other guests at wine tasting with Yannick. Some super wines at great prices and bottled at source. We learned a lot about the wine growing,process, etc.Yannick is a great guy and showed my husband around his Vineyard and Farm machinery next day. Thank you so much for warm Welcome and Tasting! We now have several nice wines to look forward to here in Ireland! 🥂🎉🍷

Wir waren für eine Nacht bei Yannick und seiner Familie auf dem Hof. Es ist Platz für 17 Wohnmobile mit Strom, Toilette und Dusche. Die erste Nacht ist kostenlos. Abends haben wir die Weinprobe mitgemacht, die wirklich sehr familiär, lecker und lustig war. Konnten auch direkt unseren Vorrat auffüllen. Kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Ci siamo fermate qui per caso. Una tenda da tetto auto con due adulti e due cani. Il posto è meraviglioso. Mi ha ricordato la casa di mia nonna . Accogliente e tranquillo con tutti i servizi necessari. La prima notte è gratuita , fanno assaggiare il vino e sicuramente trovi qualcosa che ti può piacere per comprare. Lo consiglio.

Yannick ist einfach genial - die Weinprobe war ein Erlebnis und wir haben viel über regionalen Wein sowie den Einfluss der Erderwärmung auf den Geschmack des regionalen Weins gelernt. Es war total interessant und die Weine sind einfach super. Aber man darf den Traubensaft nicht außer Acht lassen - er ist auch sehr gut! Wir haben mehrere Kartons mitgenommen!

Das war ja mal ein Erlebnis:Yannick ist ein Multitalent was Sprachen angeht und ich habe selten so auf einer Weinprobe gelacht😂Tolle Erfahrung👍👍Anschließend haben wir gut geschlafen,es ist alles da,was man braucht.🤩

Un accueil et une dégustation incroyables. Extrêmement agréable d'apprendre sur les cépages du domaine. Des vins très originaux. Bref, à ne pas rater si vous passez dans la région.

Wir kamen erst nach 18 Uhr auf dem Weingut an und hatten gehofft noch Wein kaufen zu können. Es wurde eine sehr gesellige und unterhaltsame Weinprobe in großer Runde mit anderen Campern.

Très bon accueil camping car avec tout services(eau, électricité ,WC,douche)installé au calme et dégustation de très bon vins...
Je recommande à tous de passage dans le coin de faire une halte chez ces viticulteurs très accueillant et dispo pour une dégustation de leurs différents vins..... Nous reviendrons...

In één woord, geweldig! Alle voorzieningen die we als camperaars nodig hadden en een wijnproeverij. We hebben veel geleerd van de zeer gastvrije eigenaar. Met een aantal flessen heerlijke Muscadet en een dikke glimlach zijn we na een goede nachtrust weer doorgetrokken. Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug!

Un viticulteur passionné par ce qu'il fait et qui nous a réservé un super accueil ainsi que toute sa famille et Perrine. La dégustation fut un très bon moment avec de très bons vins. Les camping-caristes sont extrêmement bien accueillis. Bravo.
