A very interesting museum that looks at the roles of certain soldiers that landed and fought in this area. You get to see their clothing, gear and medals. There was even part of an aeroplane glider that landed which had an interesting story to it. A good experience for the whole family. There was also a film you could watch and a simulator you could have taken part in but we.chose not to.

The film is worth it! I would go back just to watch the film in 3D. It was amazing telling the story of WW2. The C47 airplane experience was also very cool that you need to try at least once. It felt very realistic. The museum consists of the after C47 experience and the historic home at Dead Man's Corner.

Please know that if you want to do all three things you will need to get there at least 3 hours ahead as the film and airplane experience start at select times.

There is a small cafe outside the museum. We were there on a Saturday afternoon but it was not open. The good news there is a vending machine that takes credit cards so we could grab a drink.

Good visit. Dead's Man Corner Museum and the C-47 Simulator is very very good. Short but very good! I recommend it. The museum is also very good. Lots of dioramas both the D-Day museum and in Dead's Man Corner.
A very interesting shop in both museums.

Excellent experience. Love the flight simulation in plane, great museum. Imax film was very informative and cool. Plan 2 hours if you want to go through all three places. Cost little less than 20 Euros.

Must see this museum in your visit to Normandia. Full of history. Recommend to buy tickets also to simulator which is 19 euro per adult. Kids under 6 are not allowed in the simulator. The museum must be notified if you are accompanied by children under the age of six

Amazing museum with a very informative 45 minute 3D movie experience that is well created and well-done.

The museum, although oddly laid out, offers lots of individual stories, voiceovers, and impressive dioramas showcasing the lives of the soldiers. One can also see plenty of uniforms and outfits the soldiers wore.

There is also a flight simulator one can try too!

A great experience. Didn't do the movie. So many personal items with stories. You'll spend more time reading than anything. Flight simulation is fun. Has a proper antiques shop attached which was great to see. Picked up some German suspenders. Went around 10am on a Saturday and had no issues. Highly recommended this muesum. Best I've seen in Normandy so far.

Excellent, educational experience. Worth going just for the 3D films. The museum itself has the largest single-subject collection I have ever seen anywhere and it has been painstakingly assembled. It definitely comes across as a labour of love. The dioramas are superb, really well constructed with an eye for detail. We ran out of time before we were able to go round the Deadman's Corner house, so that's one for next time. The C-47 'flight' is very good but not for the claustrophobic, it fully conveys what it must have been like.
I'm 59 and thought I knew a fair bit about D-Day, but I learned an awful lot. Massive respect for those who were there.

We cycled here and were kindly allowed to store our bikes and luggage safely so we could relax and enjoy the museum. It was incredible and whomever is responsible for the exhibits has done an incredible job. The personal stories and linked artefact’s really brought it to life and brought me to tears several times. It’s probably one of the most emotive and best presented museums I’ve ever had the privilege to visit. Thank you for the work and keeping the memories of these people alive for future generations. Beautifully done. ❤

Amazing place definitely one of the best museums in normandy, absolutely full of stories and equipment belonging to soldiers, the cinema there was great aswell giving you more of a story as to what happened around the area, and the C-47 experience is worth the visit alone, the amount of gear and equipment on display is unreal could easily spend a couple of hours walking round and the dioramas are next level. People comparing about the price? 13 euro to get in is nothing I was shocked I was expecting it to be more expensive definitely worth it, 2 museums a simulator and 2 films to watch if you don't like it being busy then don't go on busy days or peak times me and my partner went and had the whole place to ourselves great day out

This is by far THE best WW2 museum I have been too.

If you have time make sure to visit the museum, do the flight simulator, watch the 3D films then visit Dead Man's corner. It costs €19.90pp and takes 3 hours but is absolutely worth it and time passes quickly.

I would recommend booking tickets in advance. We didnt but arrived at 9.30am when it opened. Later in the day it was much busier and i'm not sure you would get a ticket on the door.

They have a lot of interesting artifacts/uniform items to see/read about in both the US paratroopers side and Dead Man's corner which covers the German paratroopers they were fighting.

The flight simulator was a unique experience for a museum and the 3D films were great and gave an overview of D day.

This museum is not to be missed!

Great museum with lots to see. The new 3D film is worth seeing, but the flight simulator could be missed if short of time or money. The actual house at Dead Man's Corner is authentic and contains a small museum - check out the bullet holes! Two well stocked gift shops on site and a couple of food vans outside. The museum is very busy, so try to pre-book online if possible.

Fantastic museum for those interested in D-Day landings. Three museum in one. First is simulator of being on Dakota as parachutist, including flack. Not for one with bad back or nervous disposition. Next is film show then onto house that was known as Dead Mans Corner. Great experience

Amazing museum and experience. The 3D cinema was so interesting and available in English and many other languages with headphones. Great two films really informative and great to watch also the flight simulator was something I hadn't experienced in a museum like this before it was great and really gave an insight into the fear these boys and men must of been feeling. So sad but a really enjoyable day. We spent 3 hours here and could of stayed longer, would be nice if there was a cafe as afterwards we were so hungry but that's the only thing I'd say.

The flight simulator is a must. The German house has lots of original and replica items for sale. Reasonably priced. The film was really good but the only problem with it was that the house speakers are in french and really over power the translation headset. The music dub as always everywhere is entirely too loud. You have to turn the translation headset up to a really uncomfortable level. Otherwise a brilliant documentation of the airborne part of things.

Amazing experience. I enjoyed the stories from soldiers and all their artifacts. The movie was very informative and impressive, and it shows the strategy behind the war at the coast. The war plane experience felt real too! I recommend all the activities at this museum.

Good museum with a lot of interesting information about ww2.
Also it gave you some good insight on what the experience must have been back in the day. The movie was a good addition to get even more information and insight in how it went.

First return visit since major revamp and extension.
An amazing amount of effort gone into what looks to be authentic exhibits and kit.
Did the flight experience which was interesting and would recommend.
Free parking with small hot food shack selling hotdogs and panini's on site.
