Super U et Drive

Love super U. The two we have used have a great layout with lots of room between shelves, a wide range of products, and in the past, great value, quality, fresh foods. Today the prices match if not exceed the UK. UK also have broader range of foods but don't match the quality. Petrol station we used was staffed, and pumps confusing which frustrated me and always does in fact, but all sorted in the end. They also supply a range of home ware but all the things you usually need unlike UK which have lots of stuff that's just not good quality or needed. If you stay near a super U use it.

Typical large French supermarket with extensive food and non-food selection. When we didn't understand that the rolling basket was supposed to be left at the checkout, the checkout woman explained in perfect English - you wouldn't get that in the UK!

Wide range of products. Sometimes good bargain. Beware though: bulk buys are sometimes more expensive per kg than if you buy individual item. Fishmonger and butcher know their trade and are of good advice.

Large supermarket on the outskirts of Arradon. Has everything you could possibly need and more! A bit difficult to find where everything is but that is the case in every large supermarket you do not use regularly.

Limited choice if you want a big shop for a family of ‘fridge tan’s’ but more than enough for 2. Petrol station is small but so is Arradon!

Very good service. Some speak English. Toilets are open. But it's a shame bags get checked so often here.

Petit avis bref : une attention particulière pour le boulanger pour la baguette tradition moi qui est amateur de bon pain j'ai trouvé ma baguette préférée et sa me dérange pas de faire quelques km . BRAVO un client très satisfait cordialement
Quand ce n'est pas bien il faut le dire mais quand c'est bien faut le dire aussi !

Tout les ans on vient pour la foire aux vins pour faire notre réserve de Vin " Terre métisse " un très bon vin rouge qui vieillit très bien. Mais toujours avec modération 😊

Super U avec beaucoup de choix, y compris dans le Végétarien. Très bonne boucherie, très bonne charcuterie, quelques fromages du coin appréciés et d'autres produits locaux ! Achetez local chers vacanciers pour faire vivre les producteurs locaux de qualités !
