La Picota

It is the perfect place to have a nice meal. The pizzas were excellent, wine was good, and the service was friendly and quick. The location is wonderful. A beautiful terrace near an old church in a pittoresq village. Plenty of parking place. In short: off you go!

Wonderful place in a beyond picturesque town. Pizzas were fantastic, as were the crème brulée and the tiramisu. Lovely wine, great local apple juice. Service very good and on point. Prices very reasonable. What more can we wish for? That's right, nothing.

Eating here was an amazing experience. The three different pizzas we got were all fantastic. The service was friendly and when we tried to speak French they accommodated us by speaking English. We were only the second party there, and the server/owners were amazing and we had great conversation about the area. The restaurant is on a next to a river in a quiet village and also next to a church. It was warm and quiet outside while we ate, and it added to the amazing experience, especially when the church bells rang. There’s seating inside, but not much so make sure to book. There was seating outside as well. I highly recommend La Picota!

Great little gem of a restaurant.
Very good menu with a great selection of pizzas especially.
We ordered take away twice.
First time was just after we arrived in the village on a Sunday evening. The staff were so friendly they even sold us beer to take away as well!
The food was so good we had to go back another day! It is great to be able to agree a time for the food to be ready so when you return from your long day trip your dinner is ready and still warm!
Highly recommend!

Personnel agréable et souriant, prix attractif, commande à emporter expéditive et je ne pense pas me tromper en affirmant que la pate à pizza est travaillée à la main (et non au rouleau).
Un grand soutien à ce petit commerce et à bientôt.
