Loved it!!!!

Amazing food, really lovely staff and absolutely dog friendly.

Conveniently located outside La Castels campsite, this French restaurant was a dream. Seafood so fresh and the special of Lobster was to die for.

To top it off the view over the bay was beautiful and we were given a table right near the window to enjoy.

We went for lunch and dinner with both occasions going beyond our expectations. Wine recommendations were also very good, local rather than cost.

Staff very helpful and happy to help us understand the menu. Worth staying at the campsite just to visit this place...

You will need to book on the weekend... Fabulous!!!

La Maison Rouge is a wonderful restaurant, we booked table for my husbands birthday .

When we arrived we were taken to our table, in an alcove the staff were having their meal. When they resumed to their respective duties every single member of staff spoke to us as they went past our table.

Our waitress was very friendly and gave us both a menu,1 in English and 1 in French. There are many chooses and prices to choose from. We ordered our meal as individual items.

Our starters arrived promptly and we both had the prawns, they were Devine.
We both also had the pork with nuts and mushrooms. Again the food was exceptionally good.
I had dessert which was lemon creme brulee, again it was perfection. The wine was also very good.

When we came to pay the bill the chef asked if we enjoyed the meal and when we said it was perfect there was a very delighted kitchen.

So if you wish to go when in the area I recommend firstly that you book because it gets very busy, a lot of local people use it, and secondly be prepared for amazing food. The bill was only slightly more than when we had a meal in the pizza bar.

Very good French restaurant with very good service. Great aperitifs, a good menu with a lot of sea food. Reservation mostly needed, also for lunch on Sundays.

Wonderful service and food. We had a WWII veteran with us who is also a retired chef. It was a treat to have the chef and wait staff come out to have their picture taken with the American liberator.

Heerlijk gegeten. We hadden een 3 gangen menu á la maison de rouge en dat was prima. Mooie gerechten en niet te vergeten onder het genot van een prachtig uitzicht.
Als Nederlander is het soms wat lastig om uit te leggen wat je wil wNt het Engels is bij het personeel niet geweldig maar dat staat de lekkere gerechten niet in de weg. Aanrader dus!

Le restaurant à ne pas manquer lorsque vous visitez le Cotentin. Nous remercions vivement nos hôtes du Fort Lévi qui nous l’ont conseillé. Un service “irréprochable “ et de grand standing. Quant à la cuisine elle est absolument savoureuse et servie copieusement. Bravo à toute votre équipe, nous avons passé un excellent moment !

Dîner dans ce restaurant et c'était très bon. Les plats sont bien présentés et les saveurs intéressantes. Le service est super, efficace et sans trop d'interférences. L'ambiance est agréable, idéale pour une soirée tranquille, avec belle vue, même si certains clients étaient habillés de manière assez décontractée (short tongs !), mais cela n'est pas la faute du restaurant. Ça vaut le détour.

C’est l’endroit si vous voulez super bien manger.

Service impeccable. Ambiance et deco parfaite. Et la nourriture n’en parlons pas.
C’est une tuerie.
Je conseille les huîtres en entrée, elle sont délicieuses ou la farandole de fruits de mer. Ensuite le burger Oh my god … un délice ! De la viande effilochée un pain fait maison, avec du neufchâtel (je pense).

Très agréable restaurant pour une déjeuner dominical. Réservation à prévoir, en demandant à être coté véranda pour profiter pleinement de la vue. Les mets sont délicats et savoureux. Une réussite.

Très bon accueil, personnel nombreux ( au moins 4 personnes différentes juste pour notre table) Service professionnel et décontracté. Vue imprenable sur la crique de l'anse du brick, demander impérativement à être dans la véranda sinon pas d'intérêt. Pour la cuisine, je pense que cela dépend des arrivages, perso pris ce soir là un  homard du Cotentin qui était excellent et surtout parfaitement cuit. A refaire.

L'attente en début de repas fut un peu longue mais l'ensemble de la prestation méritait bien un peu de patience : plats très bien travaillés avec des saveurs et des consistances originales. Un régal du début à la fin. Le personnel nombreux est super professionnel et très sympathique. Dimanche midi parfait. Merci pour ce délicieux moment.

Superbe expérience, une équipe de qualité, très sympathique, serviable et à l’écoute ! Les plats étaient délicieux, le vin proposé pour accompagner correspondait parfaitement. Les saveurs étaient présentes, la présentation parfaite. Il faut y aller les yeux fermés. Une expérience plus que parfaite !

Repas succulent et personnel très agréable. Je recommande vivement
