A truly heartwarming dining experience!

Although we could hardly speak either German or French, the owner and his friends were accommodating and super friendly.

We ordered Foie Gras and Kassler for entrée. The serving was generous and food was authentic and heavenly!

Au Boeuf is really a family restaurant & we had an amazing time there! ☺☺☺

Although it was the only place open when we docked in this quiet little town, we were very lucky to dine there!
Amazing food, very tasty, artistic and interesting.
the service was amazing considering no one spoke English, and my French can not be excused...
the waitress and the bar tender made sure we are enjoying a very good meal and the local yet smart and very skillfully handled dishes were a delight.

Our group of 8 showed up last minute for dinner and although the menu was a bit limited, the food and service were fantastic and the chef even drove our wives back to our boat after dinner. Very friendly staff and a great time for all.

Stopped here on my way to Switzerland. Good local food, very friendly hospitality, just 5 minutes out of the motorway.

Très bon resto.
Le service est super accueillant et bienveillant. La nourriture est bonne et les prix sont corrects.

Traditionelle elsässische Küche. Große Portionen. Fernfahrer Geheimtipp. Sehr nettes Personal und fantastischer Chef. Unbedingt besuchen!

Prix plus que raisonnable pour un menu routier. Par contre il faut avoir un bon coup de fourchette j'ai pas réussi à finir. Menu comprend entrée plat dessert. Parking un peu loin mais marcher c'est bon pour la ligne 😁 surtout si on fini l'assiette. Ouvert les jours fériés pour les routiers !!!! 👌👍

Sehr leckere traditionelle Küche und ein absolut hervorragender Service mit sehr herzlichem und freundlichem Personal.

Der Chef des Hauses hat uns sogar ins benachbarte Dorf gefahren, da wir zu erschöpft für den Fußweg waren und es kein Taxi gab.

Très bonne choucroute, vous pouvez aussi vous servir au buffet un large choix d'entrées. Un dessert servi généreusement arrosé de schnaps par le patron.
Personnel accueillant

Cuisine familiale et de qualité, c'est à chaque fois un plaisir d'y partager un plat en famille, servi avec sourire et générosité. Je recommande donc sans problème ce petit restaurant qui ne paye peut être pas de mine en première approche mais où il fait bon s'y retrouver, et c'est ce qui compte.

C est un excellent restaurant que j' ai connu il y a plus de vingt années , j y suis retourné et tout est absolument génial , les propriétaires sont toujours aussi sympathiques , je recommande vivement. Tarifs abordables.

Le restaurant est toujours accueillant avec un personnel aux petits soins et les patrons au top. On y mange bien et les tartes flambées sont excellentes !!!

Vriendelijke patron! Spreekt Duits en Frans! Goed voor zijn gasten! Vrachtwagens krijgen plek aangewezen, Ff voor de deur stoppen en je hoort waar! 300 meter verder! Eten superieur, ik kom zeker terug! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷👍
