Domaine Château Ermenonville

WOW - we will most defiantly be coming back to the castle after an incredible two day trip. We loved it so much.
The historic, beautiful castle was amazing and we felt straight at home with the friendly staff . The food for dinner was incredible!

We need to give a big shout out to Frederic who was so helpful and kind to us and made our trip so special and memorable.

If we could give more stars we would!!!

Very nice stay here again after 25 years we celebrated our marriage here. Same suite we got married in excellent shape including a completely renovated bathroom. Very nice people at reception. Due to renovations they may not supply all services.

AMAZING!!! Have always wanted to stay in a chateau and this was just incredible. 15min drive from the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
Staff really made the experience amazing. We bought a bottle of wine and were allowed to have it on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the moat and view.
There’s still lots to do/ see nearby, but just walking the grounds were amazing.
There is also an on-site restaurant which was beyond amazing. A++++

Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Chateau. The new owners are gradually transforming this into a Luxury experience while keeping the old world French charm. The food was outstanding. The distance to Paris worked well. Will definitely stay here again.

We really loved our stay here. I was very skeptical because we didn't have much information, but our holiday was lovely. If you can come by car, it is not inconvenient. The grounds are beautiful and the chateau looks magnificent inside and out, it's really quite impressive. The room was bright and clean and elegant. Dinner is offered as an extra, and it was absolutely wonderful. Top notch cuisine, excellent waitstaff, and breathtaking views of the lake behind the chateau. The village is very quiet and quaint. It is within an hour's drive of Paris, or you can take the train from nearby Plessis-Belleville. Be forewarned, however, that the station is under construction, the ticket machine is broken, and the ticketing is closed on weekends and holidays. The chateau itself is located in the beautiful French countryside. Excellent place for a honeymoon or romantic weekend getaway.

Have the correct spirits of a chateau visit and experience: old decoration but new linens and bathroom. It is a very good value.
Perfect balance amongst history, comfort and price!

It is not a fancy 4-star hotel, the furniture is much older than the pictures show on web, but it matchs the age of the chateau, that’s what I am looking for, and that’s also why it is cheap to live in!
But the linens are all new and clean, bathroom is newly furnished and shiny, make you feel comfortable to live in. Room is very warm in winter.

(I don’t think the country side will be too hot in summer, but there is no screen, as it is French door. But there is no screen in any hotel in Paris with French door, don’t know how French people open french doors without screen in summer, no mosquitos in France?)

The price of the food (€45 for brunch) sounds higher, as compared to their rooms, but the food does smell very good. it’s understandable that they need to make profits from somewhere to survive.

Their suite is not listed on Expedia, booking, hotel those types of webs, but available on their own web, and not expensive at all. so you need to go their own web to book the good rooms. Mine is Château chamber right in the middle of the building, perfect back lake view.

I would try the big suite in the corner tower if the price is still €180 next time. I hope the price won’t be like a 4-star hotel next time.

This is a really nice Castle Hotel. The rooms are simple but clean and the staff is very friendly and gives many recommendation. There was a nice walk around the castle.

Amazing staff, friendly and warm atmosphere, with a stunning castle and breathtaking surroundings. Definitely would recommend it, the castle really stands out as the perfect mix between charming and authentic !

The castle and the surroundings are perfect. Our experience was very good. Worm and clean rooms.

We went for brunch and had an amazing time. Beautiful place, great staff and delicious food, we were spoilt for choice. What a way of celebrating the first day of this exciting new decade!!!!

Loved our stay there! The room was ok but the beauty at the castle was amazing. There were sheep, ducks, beavers, and cats there. So nice and quiet

What a wonderful place! As a destination wedding photographer I had a change to document a wedding there and must say - it's an amazing setting for a wedding and very friendly staff. Definitely highly recommended !
