Camping La Santoire

Great discovery! It’s a campground that is excellent for tents or RV’s, but we stayed in a deluxe chalet. These little cabins are beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, tastefully designed. Open your windows and enjoy the roar of the Santoire River, just meters away. A well-stocked grocery store provided all we needed for dinner on a night when their little restaurant was not open. This neat, immaculate, place is clearly a labor of love for owners Dennis and Jelle. We highly recommend!

Jelle & Dennis are the most welcoming hosts at Camping La Santoire. We enjoy many visits to the bar for drinks & the occasional meal. Fantastic surroundings & views of the Saint Bonnet Orgues. Beautiful, tranquil & the boys cannot do enough for their guests.

A great little bar, in the centre of St Bonnet D'Condat, great hosts and a good selection of food, I'd recommend the Charcuterie board, excellent value for money

Really lovely campsite that we stayed in for a night. Lots of little touches that show love has been put into it. Well stocked shop, great pitches with a gorgeous view and the hosts were great serving up lots of Belgian beer in the friendly bar.

Found this little gem of a site by literally sticking a pin in the map. So glad we did. Jelle and Dennis are wonderful and deserve every success they get with this place. We were stuck on site for a week with no vehicle due to a tyre problem and having to wait for new ones to be delivered. This was a blessing in disguise. We sat back, relaxed biked and walked up some steep hills and saw some spectacular scenery. The site is spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for the guys (hope your van problem is easily sorted). Thoroughly recommend this wonderful place to escape to. The sound of cow bells as a morning alarm is how life should be. Thank you for a wonderful stay and especially the tapas !!! 😂 Jane, Nigel and the crazy spaniel.

Wow we were amazed by what Jelle and Dennis have turned this camping into! An amazing camp site where it is nice year-round.

Le Bonnet-de-Condat is a very calm village with a superb environment. Still the sights and must-sees in the region are easily reachable by car. You even get a spectacular view of the vulcano from the campsite itself! With any luck the mayor will light it up "specially for you" ;) during your stay.

Then the campsite itself, nice places, very well equipped chalets and mobile homes. Sparkling clean sanitary facilities!

There is an epicery where you can buy your forgotten items and fresh food at need. Tip: ask Dennis to reserve your next mornings' order of baguettes and croissants or the locals might beat you to it! ;)

The bar is very nicely run by Jelle and I found it a nice cool spot on a hot day. Also ask about the local wines they have for you, very nice.

Another nice cool down spot is the river Santoire that runs immediately behind the campsite. There is a child-safe fence that you can go through, walk a bit up stream and you'll find a nice spot for a picknick and a swim. Really enjoyed that!

All in all we had an amazing holiday thanks to Jelle and Dennis whom really put their heart and soul into every detail of this.

Vriendelijke, gastvrije en aardige eigenaren.
We hebben de door hen aangeboden dagprogramma door de omgeving gedaan, superleuk en nuttig! Komen op de mooiste plekken.
Rustige, sfeervolle en mooie camping met mooie ligging in de natuur en aan leuke beek!

Croissant en stokbroden iedere dag vers en lekker!

Jammer dat onze week er al op zit. Hadden langer willen blijven 🥰

S il y a avait plus d étoiles à attribuer, ce petit camping familial, confortable et avec des propriétaires disponibles, aimables et arrangeant ils les méritent amplement ! Mes parents et ma fille viennent de passer un séjour en chalet tout confort. Ils sont vraiment ravis de leur séjour et remercies chaleureusement les propriétaires pour leur gentillesse. Lieu paisible au milieu de la nature et à proximité des sentiers de randonnées. Il paraît que les petites choses à grignoter à l apéro sont délicieuses. 😜

Wij hebben een super leuke week gehad op Camping La Santoire!
Er zijn veel leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving van de camping. In de bar/terras kun je heerlijk eten en lekker wat drinken.
Het sanitair wordt keurig schoongehouden! Deze camping is van alle gemakken voorzien, ruime douches, ruime toiletten.
De camping heeft een epicerie waar je vrijwel alles kunt krijgen.
Qua service hebben wij ook een fijne ervaring. Onze auto hield ermee op, de eigenaren hebben voor ons het contact onderhouden met de garage.
Kortom, er is ons niks tekort gekomen op Camping La Santoire!

Super endroit petit camping cool, les proprio sont dispo aimables. tout service à disposition petite épicerie restauration possible. une petite rivière qui va bien, tout près, bien fraîche avec des d'écrevisses: c'est un signe de qualité... je recommande

Een geweldige camping waar wij nu voor de 2e keer verblijven. Wij huren hier een chalet. Heerlijk verblijf, supervriendelijk gastheren, Dennis en Jelle, mooie, rustige omgeving. Wij komen zeker terug!

Ook onze hond, Sky, heeft het hier prima naar zijn zin.

Geweldige, superschone en rustige camping in een prachtige omgeving. Wij hebben met onze caravan twee weken genoten. We hadden een mooie plek, de broodjes waren lekker en het sanitair was uitstekend. We hebben ook een paar keer ‘avonds op de camping gegeten. Was prima. De afwisselende omgeving leent zich voor mooie wandel-, fiets- en autoritjes. Dank aan de gastheren voor een prachtig en gastvrij verblijf.

Super petit camping doté de nombreux services: épicerie, bar, snack, salle commune, hamacs, frigo, congélateur, micro-ondes...Les sanitaires sont très propres avec petite musique d'ambiance. Beaux emplacements, proximité d'un ruisseau. Beaux arbres. Bref, le top.

Met de camper op pad: vlg. de vergunning mogen er maar 5 campers staan.Dus op tijd kijken op website of er plaats is.Mooie schone camping met ook vakantievierende honden.De winkel en horeca prijzen verrassen je aangenaam.Prima wandel en fiets mogelijkheden.Eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en voorkomend.

Un super petit camping dans un très joli petit village au cœur de la vallée de la santoire. Tenu par 2 jeunes hollandais ultra sympathiques, vous allez profiter d'un service parfait dans la joie et la bonne humeur. Le calme et la tranquillité et la beauté des paysages regneront sur votre séjour. Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour. Parfait, parfait, parfait !

Fijne regendouche met relaxte achtergrond muziek. Helemaal Top!!
Ook de omgeving is zeker de moeite waard om te ontdekken. Dit is een plek waar we graag een keer terug komen.

Wat een fantastische plek hebben Dennis en Jelle gerealiseerd! Een upgrade kunnen krijgen naar een chalet, welke op en top was ingericht en voorzien van alles wat je denkt nodig te hebben!
Prachtige omgeving, en daarna tot rust komen op deze mooie rustige plek. Zeker een aanrader!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce camping en camping car. super petit camping avec de jolis emplacements bien entretenu.acceuil très sympa..et sanitaires toujours propre..c est la deuxième fois que s'y arrête et toujours très content 👍
