Beautiful campsiteright next to river, spotless toilet and shower facilities.
Highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed we went before school summer holidays and it was lovely and quiet no issues trying to get a sunbed at pool area, but we were told it gets really busy on school holidays with the British and dutch.
The pitches are big and shaded with trees so great for keeping caravan cool on hot days.
Food at the site is good especially the pizzas.

I have been coming to this campsite when I was a toddler right the way up to my thirties and plan to bring my own offspring here when that time comes, every year it gets better and better and they just have that eye for improvement all the time, I love the staff as they are busy but relaxed all the same, you would think your in the canaries when you visit here and it's so peaceful and quaint.
Originally when I came here as a kid it was a three star campsite and it was amazing as they had an animations team to help keep kids occupied during the day with football tournaments and ping-pong which I learned to play because of this campsite.
The swimming pools are great as they accommodate all ages and temperatures.
The bar and restaurant is open everyday with a great selection of ordinary and exquisite food on the menu and full of flavour. They have their own onsite shop for the necessities and access also to the river for fishing or if you just want to relax. I could go on and on about this place but it's one you really just have to visit and make sure your around for a Thursday as their pool competitions are a great buzz.

Visited in August for a week with our son and his young family and our dog. We stayed in our campervan whilst my son and family stayed in their extra large tent. We booked in advance and paid a deposit. We were given a magnificent pitch which, in a lifetime of camping, I can say was easily the largest I’ve ever stayed on. It had sun and shade and was conveniently located. It had hedges on three sides The facilities here are great and the family running the Campsite are kind and helpful.
The campsite beach on the river is really beautiful and has quite a bit of shade and endless stones for building dams and throwing in the river.
There are two play park areas, tennis courts, table tennis, games room, volleyball and more. We saw many happy children of all ages. We didn’t manage to eat at the restaurant but we drank at the bar which was lovely and near the centre of things. We were in the pool most days. There are two good size pools and one small very shallow area and a surprisingly interesting slide. The pools aren’t as big or as exciting as some others we’ve seen but we were happy here and of course there’s always the river. There are two loo blocks which were nicely kept.
It’s a five minute walk to Limeuil which is really beautiful and has quite a few restaurants and a two ice cream shops. There are some really good family based attractions in the area. Also Bergerac is only an hour away and is stunningly beautiful. There is a green cycle route not far from the Campsite.
So overall, this is an excellent Campsite but the reason I’ve given it five stars is really the attitude of the owners- they just couldn’t have been more helpful for example when we lost our bike keys or needed our bike tires blown up or just for anything you needed. We were very happy here.

Lovely campsite, in a fabulous location. Extremely helpful friendly staff. We would have liked to have stayed longer but the weather was not conducive.
Well maintained campsite, extremely well stocked shop.
Lovely setting with charming views from the beach.
Very eco-friendly, with composting recycling etc. e-bike hire and good cycle routes from the campsite.

Fantastic campground. We visited while cycling the dordogne with two young kids and it was perfect. Playground and trampoline area, pool, and nice restaurant and well stocked shop. Very clean showers and even a cooking area (a huge perk for cyclists!). We had some problems with our tent and the staff were super helpful. Plus it’s in an amazing location across from an exceedingly picturesque small town. We have visited many campsites in france and this is our absolute favourite. Highly recommended.

Really lovely campsite, v helpful on arrival, supplied cable for a distant electric point. Position right on river. Restaurant good. I saw staff extensively clean the kitchens every night. Facilities clean. The bar actually had real character. Great cycling round the area. A real find, but keep it to yourself.

Lovely site on the banks of the dordogne. Everything you need if you just want to relax is on site. Limeuil is just over the two bridges and worth a visit. Nice places to eat out dotted round the village. Great place as a base to explore the region and it's only 20 min off the A89 so easy to get to.

This 4 star site was recommended to us and thank goodness we took up the advice. It is one of the best European sites that we have been on, and it accepts ACSI, so in late June we paid just over 17 Euros for two adults and a motorhome, with electricity, per night. Incredible value for such an excellent site, so beautifully located on the Dordogne, and at the confluence of its meeting with the Vezere river. Great pool, lots of little touches of quality play spaces for children, a nice restaurant and bar. The showers and toilets are delightful and well cleaned. You can canoe from Limeuil or fish if you have a licence. Limeuil itself is a 10 minute walk across two bridges and is pretty, with a few restaurants and river bars. We followed walking routes provided by the campsite staff and they were excellent. There is a an ALDI, LIDL and Intermarche Hyper at Le Bugue 4 miles away. Great site.

Stayed in motor home at camp-site for a few days. Nice and quiet with great facilities. On-site restaurant good food at very reasonable prices. Was also good for pets who were with us, nice location close to town and river.

Brilliant campsite, great pool, football pitch, table tennis x 3 trampolines x 3, games room, tennis court, clean facilities. Great area for cyclists, bar and restaurant very good. Best of all was tubing down the Dordogne. We will definitely return next year. Note - we had to use 2 x 15M cables for electric hook up.

We received the most wonderful welcome, we have a touring caravan with awnig the pitch was really large . Site has absolutely everything you could ask for, amazing location on the banks of the dordogne with a beautiful view of limeuil, great swimming pool, bar ,snack bar . If you have children they have everything to keep them busy, outdoor spaces for football, basketball, tennis courts, table tennis and indoor games room. Site is immaculately clean , shower/toilet blocks checked and cleaned regularly. Staff have all been very friendly and helpful especially on arrival when things were explained to us in english ( a great plus). The whole site has a nice easy relaxed feel about it . Haven't got a bad word to say about our stay. While there we joined the village night food festival it was really lovely, sarlat market worth a visit and the surrounding villages are all beautiful to visit. We will be back, stayed for 14 days and could have stayed longer

Perhaps the best campsite I've ever stayed at.

Great facilities (pool, park, football pitch, tennis courts, snack bar, pool tables, bar). Next to the river.

Ambiance was laid back and though there was plenty of vino being consumed and kids bombing around on bikes it was never too loud - which was good because I'm a light sleeper.

Shop had just enough range and there were 3 supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. Plenty to do in the area (floating down the river for crepes and fires on the beach were our favourite activities).

Toilets were constantly being cleaned.

If we are in the area again this is somewhere I'd definitely go back to.

Great location, fantastic ‘beach’ along the cooling river side, where Vézère meets Dordogne. Nice camp site, convenient pool. Cosy atmosphere - all you need!

Really nice camping, it has a lot of activities to do, a pool, volleyball beach, pool, and the list goes on. It’s located by the river and at the other side there a beautiful place that reminded Mont Saint Michel. The food at the restaurant and drinks at the bar were really good. Top part the owners are very friendly and kind ❤

My favourite campsite over the last 3 years. Clean, plentiful facilities, kind friendly staff and a pool and river location to die for. On the edge of a picturesque town in limeuil it is the perfect get away for anyone camping or caravaning towards the south of France. Tasty food and high quality beer is served in the campsite bar / restaurant during the summer months as well. Over the last 3 years we have received large pitches with room for a tent, caravan, awning and car so no concerns in the space deparment. Didier and nadége are fantastic hosts and super friendly. Already looking forward to next year ! See attached from the river views from the campsite

Beautiful location for a campsite. Many of the pitches has views over the river. Very short walk into the town. The house for the toilet facilities is beautiful! Good location for days out, would stay here again
