Crêperie de Saint-Maurice

This was the best creperie during my holidays. From starters to the dessert everything was made very well. A lot of choices in order to create your preferred crepe. The cidre and wine choices very good too. Very good price. Then the location: amazing. It's worth a visit with the near Abbey.
You must book the dinner in advance even one week in advance.

The location and galettes are excellent, therefore you need to book well in advance during the summer season. And you will need to call and call again as they are really busy. But do try as it is so worth it!!
The selection of galettes and crepes is a blend of traditional recipes (must try the sausage ones) and more creative depending on the chef’s inspiration and market (curried shrimps etc). Also some omelettes. There will be something for everyone. A selection of the best cidres from the local farms and the Breton limonade.
3 “spaces”: inside (traditional Breton style with a fireplace), covered terrace and outside under the umbrellas. Try have a window or dine outside to enjoy the views on the river Laita. Indeed this crêperie is located in a preserved area and you can drive there only if you have a booking. Once arrived the view on the river and nature is stunning. Have a walk before and after to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful space.

We've been here a number of times over the past 30 years and were always satisfied. This time it was such a great retreat from miserable weather. As usual the crepes were delicious,the cider too.I also thought any price increases were surprisingly negligible. The atmosphere in the restaurant and its location have always been winning features.They remain so. The crowning glory was the wonderful waitress! She was so cheerful and friendly without being over the top. All in all a memorable end to a very rainy week in le Pouldu and an encouragement to return,which we will!

We planned a visit to the neighbouring Abbey but ended up spending most of our time enjoying the excellent crepes here instead.

Really nice Crêperie! The food is really good, the waitress was very nice with us and the surroundings are magnificent! Beside it's pretty cheap! 10/10!

This is supposed to be THE place for crepes in Brittany. And they did not disappoint. I had a more traditional one with Jamon and egg. My friends ordered galette ones and they didn't love theirs like I did. The dessert crepes made everyone happy.

Superb location right on the water near the Abby. Go for a walk on the trails after to burn off a few of the calories:)

Beautiful and idyllic location, delicious galettes and crepes, great selection of cidre, lovely staff, and very reasonable prices too. We will certainly be back!

P.S. We recommend hiring a canoe at Guidel, it's a very lazy paddle up the river and you can moor up right in front of the restaurant.

Best crepes we have come across. Gets busy but worth going out of the way for. Nice walk around the forest too.

Great and delicious crêpes and a lovely staff. Restaurant is located at a very very nice and romantic place directly at the river Laïta.
