Idyllic location, ideal for an overnight on the way south (or north). First class service from helpful and friendly staff.
The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and they surprised us several times with little extras. Local wine was good. The waiters were very good indeed.
Parking on site is a bonus. Easy to get to as as well but look out for the signs.

There is a nice terrace and the hotel has some interesting rooms that date back centuries

Idyllic and so comfortable.
Staff were really helpful and nice
Room was very smart and clean
Bathroom was modern and the shower was good. I sat and looked out the window watching hundreds of swallows doing their acrobatics for ages.
The parking on site is a bonus.
The views are amazing as was our waiter in the restaurant who was the same age as the bridge! He didn’t speak English but was very funny.

The restaurant is really worth a visit. The food is as good as the view. An evening here will be memorable

Breakfast was very pleasant too. The eggs were lovely.

We stopped at the Chateau on a long drive from the Cote d'Azur The location is excellent; easy to find, quiet, with amazing views of the viaduct. The staff were very helpful. There is much to explore in the region to warrant a longer stay.

An excellent hotel to rest my head for a few days. It's located slightly outside of Millau proper, so be prepared to walk a bit to get into town, however if the weather is nice it's a quite enjoyable trip.

The rooms are well appointed and very focused on sustainability - something I consider a big plus.

The breakfast in the mornings is everything you want to get a good start to the day, and the restaurant is a very elevated experience.

To add a bit of whimsy, there is a local mischievous orange cat that will try to sneak into the hotel - however he is not allowed :)

Superb restaurant in a traditional hotel. Also perfect location with a view of the bridge and a short walk down to the River. Highly recommended!

This was such a lovely hotel near the Millau bridge. It was a little oasis. The chateau and grounds are lovely as is the staff. We had made a reservation at their restaurant and were very pleased we did. The food was beautifully prepared . I wish we had been able to spend more time.....highly recommend.

Having stayed here last year I promised to bring my wife to stay at Chateau Creissels.
Our room was in the old part of the Chateau and was spacious and very comfortable with a brilliant view.
Our dinner was excellent, wonderfully prepared and with very friendly service.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back.

Enchanting and unique hotel, with an excellent restaurant (do not miss!) and some of the best customer service I have experienced in France. Rooms are spacious, clean. Great shower, and comfy beds. I just stayed here with my American family and my French partner for 2 nights and we all loved it. For reference I’ve been in France for 5 years and have lived all over ;) The surrounding area of Peyre, Millau, the Tarn Gorges and the beautiful viaduct are not to be missed! I hope I’ll be back someday.

Fantastic place to stay after a days ride down the Gorge du Tarn. Beautifully appointed room, very clean, super comfy beds. We had a view of the Millau bridge from our room which was a bonus. The best thing about the chateau though has to be the staff - very welcoming, always happy and smiling, and genuine with it. Will definitely come again

Lovely renovated chateau next to a church in sight of the viaduct at Millau. Recommended for good weather dates as the exterior makes this place memorable. Loved the lush greenery of the gardens that surround the entry, parking, patio tables and pool...just outside our room...and the church bells announcing the hour, politely starting at 8am! Bathroom was large with a delicious rain shower. Very friendly service.

Really beautiful chateau with lovely gardens (where you could breakfast on the lawn) and we enjoyed our overnight stop here so much that we stayed an extra night. I'm disabled and the special room for a disabled person was well equipped. The only complaint is that we felt the room should have provided a small fridge water and soft drinks and although it was good having a kettle to make tea or coffee milk was also needed and we had to ask for this specially.
However, I've given this place 5 stars as it was just such a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful place and relax in the swimming pool with specatacular views over the Millau bridge. The hotel restaurant was also very good with an outside terrace and beautiful views over the rooftops of Millau and over to the mountains beyond.

My elderly cousin and I arrived after a long, albeit very pleasant drive from the Alpes, and enjoyed a wonderful, friendly, helpful welcome. I'm posting this although we have only just arrived here and cannot comment much more yet... We are off to dinner! So far, so good!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, which says a lot. The problems with the A75 is that there are few hotels on that route that we know about that really give us such pleasure. Outside the medieval chateau is severe but commands an unrivalled view of Millau, Creissels, river Tarn, les Causses and of course, the bridge. If possible have a room overlooking this extraordinary vista. The room we had this time was extremely comfortable and for the first time we had a dog, which was welcomed both in the hotel and under the table in the restaurant; an attitude difficult to find in the UK. The restaurant surpassed all expectations. In the past we have found it patchy but the food was beautifully prepared, presented and full of flavours. Our only small criticism is the breakfast room is cramped, a bit dull and one sometimes feels it is bit of an anticlimax, instead of being the cherry on the cake.
However, our overall experience is a good one and shall not let that flaw our impression. Thank you.

Lovely atmospheric hotel with a great view of the Viaduc. Exceptional food in the restaurant which is also very atmospheric. Lovely village and setting. Thoroughly recommended.
