Le Ballon d'Epernay

Didn't make reservations, just walked up and after bit of wait was able to have a glass of champagne in souvenir glass and ride up in balloon. Beautiful view of the area.

Very nice experience. Totally recommended. For about 10 minutes balloon goes up to 150 metres and offers stunning views on town and countryside. Very kind staff.

A truly enjoyable activity priced at 14 euros per person (champagne not included), taking you up approximately 150 meters for a duration of around 15 minutes. The guide is friendly and provides instructions in both English and French.

€12 for about 15mins 150meters up. Goes up gently - only takes 2 mins. Elevated for about 10mins. Great 360 views of Epernay. Comes down gently you hardly notice it. It was safe and secure. Gift shop is available with lots of champagne accessories. Note it closes at 1pm for 1 hour for lunch. Staff pleasent and polite.

Great views, very smooth. 18 euros each with a glass of champagne (and you take the avenue de champagne (acrylic) glass home). They also run in the evening. Get to see the avenue, town and the champagne hills from a different view.

Unique experience, well worth €14.

On August 28th, we purchased 6 tickets for the balloon. We showed up within the hour of purchasing these tickets at our assigned time and were told, due to bad weather conditions they weren't running. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and issued us a refund.

Wasn't sure what to expect and thought it might be cheesy and too touristy but we really enjoyed it. Great views and a really nice trip.

Great far reaching views. Quite a unique thing to do to break up all the tastings available in Epernay.
