Excellent service, delicious food and great atmosphere. What’s not to like about this lovely cafe?

It was a last minute visit on Sunday and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious and arrived rather fast. Croustillant is a must! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.

Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Fabulous little brunch place, tucked away down a side street in Epernay. Had read all the great google reviews so decided to give it a try. We are travelling round France (from the UK) with our (v large) Leonberger, so we were very impressed when they confirmed they were "dog friendly" for the seats in the window, which were actually great as we got to people watch as we enjoyed our brunch. We had walked in, so not sure if you can book. I had the eggs benedict, beautifully cooked, with crisp bacon and delicious avocado on the toast and hollandaise sauce on top. My Fiance had the French Toast, which he said was delicious and we enjoyed this with a glass of blanc de blanc champagne each. Very friendly and efficient staff and very reasonably priced. Very enjoyable and would highly recommend!

Only regret is that we didn’t find this place sooner. Incredible brunch options - avocado toast was delicious and their fruit salad was a delight. Same can be said about the side salad that came with all our meals. Didn’t have the chance to try their lunch or sweeter dishes, but can only imagine they were just as good.

FYI you will most likely need a reservation but can simply call or email the day before.

The food is fantaaaastic! We had the omlette (my boyfriend's favorite), the eggs benedict with salmon, and the pancakes - all of which were fantastic! If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch in Épernay, this is where you need to go! ☺

Highly recommend! We were in Epernay for two days and ate here both mornings. It is difficult to find a proper brunch many places but this place has perfected it.
The staff were friendly and the food came out quick.

Stopped in here for breakfast and it was amazing!!! The woman was so friendly and nice and the food was amazing!!!! I 100% recommend stopping here for a late breakfast or brunch!

The husband and I got eggs Benedict with bacon and the kiddo got the menu enfant which came with fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, and an orange juice!!

The fresh squeezed orange juice was so yummy too.

Amazing brunch menu. We ordered 3 different items and all were delicious and fresh. Agnes was helpful, enthusiastic and a great host.

We were so impressed with our brunch at Matin Gourmand that we returned the following day! The dishes are perfectly portioned and each one was absolutely TASTY. The restaurant has only been open two weeks and was quite busy, but the staff did a wonderful job keeping up with the service. We had a great experience at Matin Gourmand and we look forward to our next trip to Epernay because we know we'll be having another fantastic brunch there!

Great place with great food! We were three nights in Epernay and have eaten breakfast here every day.

Perfect spot in Épernay. The host is welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want first thing in the morning, and the food is absolutely fantastic.

Great service (thanks to Agnes and her smile) and great food. Combined with nice atmosphere.
