If you are attracted by peace and quiet and want to relax in beautiful surroundings then Camping Moulin de la Geneste is the haven you have been searching. Paul and Saskia are welcoming and delightful hosts.

We had an amazing time staying for 10 nights. Great family feel, with a few site activities arranged for anyone who wants to attend. Our children loved the Lake, exploring in the woods and playing with the goats.
The family who run it were spot on! Helping and advising with anything we needed or asked.
Great facilities, peaceful area, well sheltered from the hot sun if you need it, with plenty of space to lie in the sun if you wanted.
The morning delivery of baked goods, was a superb start to every day. Would 100% recommend and looking forward to going again soon.

The two owners have created a beautiful site and their service is unrivalled. Fresh bread is brought to your pitch in the morning - never seen that before just to name one thing. The little lake is perfect for a refreshment and the kids just love the animals and the paths around the river. We camped an extra day on the way down to Les Landes and wanted to return on the way back. But chose a different route so we need to return in 2023.

Great campsite with standard pitches and glamping facilities. Pet friendly. Run by hardworking helpful and attentive owners who also make a mean curry once a week. The area is secluded with good tree cover providing lots of shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. It is also very quiet at night with no artificial light. Make sure to take a walk down into the valley and along the river. The shower blocks and bathroom facilities are clean and well maintained. It’s a great location for running and cycling with rolling hills and winding roads in all directions. If you haven’t tried this place yet put it on your to-do list.

Fabulous gem of a campsite with immaculate facilities and a lot to do for children and adults. Fabulous curry night and great to meet other campers as the kids lit tea light boats on the lake. Warm welcome.Highly recommended ecommeded

Nice and lovely made campsite. The cold creek is not for swimming but cools you down on hot days. Very nice with kids and the (English) owners are very keen to help and friendly. We were a bit late in the season so the kids were pretty bored after 2 days, but still. Nice large and shaded pitches, privacy guaranteed. Cold beers and beverages and icecreams can be taken at any time, just put it on the list and pay at the end. Terrific.

Stayed in one of the great chalets. Fantastic use of space, very comfortable, shaded from the sun and well equipped.
Steve and Sharon are very welcoming and helpful hosts. Great curry night.

Lakes for swimming, beach and watersports about 30 minutes away.

What a special place, so relaxing, will definitely return. Really enjoyed a couple of days there recharging our batteries after three days of traveling. Would have stopped longer if we had more time.

This is like an oasis, beautiful pithes & streams & lakes, clean facilities and the people are lovely. We are on our way back for a second time we loved it so much 🫶

We had such a good time here. We stayed in a chalet which was comfortabel and clean. The camping and the owners are very nice and helpful

I think this must be one of the loveliest campsites in France, run by a really fab, dynamic couple.

Supercamping

Hele fijne camping met mooie volwassen Flora waardoor de plekken lekker privé zijn. De Nederlandse eigenaren zijn reuze vriendelijk en zetten een heerlijk ongedwongen sfeer neer. Wij hebben hier een 5-tal nachten genoten van de rust, natuur en al het moois in de omgeving. Bedankt !

Mooie steden en dorpjes in de directe omgeving te bezoeken, ga zeker naar Uzerche ! Er ligt een ontzettend mooi Arboretum op fietsafstand, dat moet je echt gaan zien. Daarnaast vanuit deze camping mooie (Komoot) lange wandelroutes in de directe omgeving te vinden. Ook fietsen kan je hier heerlijk als je een beetje kan klimmen :-)

Wat een fantastische camping is dit!
Je wordt al ontvangen door heel vriendelijke en lieve mensen. Dit Nederlandse gezin heeft dit jaar de camping overgenomen en doen hun uiterste best om het naar je zin te maken.
De camping heeft een eigen (speel)bos, beek en meertje. Ontzettend stil in de nacht waardoor je helemaal tot rust komt.
Voor gezinnen met kinderen die van de natuur houden en geen camping willen met een hoop poespas en drukte, is dit dé camping!
Maar ook voor ons, niet meer met kinderen op vakantie, was dit top!
Het sanitair is wat ouder maar wordt super bijgehouden.
In de omgeving zijn enkele leuke dorpjes, stadjes en kastelen. Ezerche, pompadour etc.
Wij willen deze camping dan ook echt aanraden. Voor een paar nachten of langer!

Een fijne rustige camping. Leuk aantal kinderen, waar onze kinderen aansluiting bij vonden. Een meertje en een riviertje waar gezwommen en gespeeld kan worden. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Een gezellig pizza avond met heerlijke pizza's. Sanitair is altijd schoon.

Magnifique petit camping en pleine nature à quelques minutes d’Uzerche, tenu par des propriétaires très accueillants. Les emplacements sont vraiment parfaits. Les sanitaires sont très propres et bien pensés. Nous reviendrons !

Rustige, prima camping met nieuwe Nederlandse eigenaren. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie grote plekken in een bosrijke camping klein meertje en een kabbelend stroompje. Je komt helemaal tot rust. Sanitair is goed

Ce camping est une très belle découverte. Le lieu est charmant et bien entretenu. Si vous venez rechercher le calme de la nature Limousine, cet endroit est un havre de paix. Les activités ne manquent pas, vous pourrez trouver un étang de pêche, un cours d'eau cristalline, des jeux pour petits et grands, une belle balade dans les bois avec quelques surprises au détour d'un arbre ou d'un virage et enfin une mini ferme avec cochon, chèvre, poneys, poules. Les sanitaires et douches sont très propres et l'eau est chaude. Enfin, emplacement avec electricité (prevoir une rallonge en 220V) et 5G ou WIFI disponible. Merci Madame et Monsieur Fokkens pour l'accueil que vous nous avez reservé. J'espère pouvoir revenir bientôt.

Ce camping, tout près du beau village d’ Uzèrche, est une expérience inoubliable! L’acceullie est chaleureuse, les emplacements grandes et ombrageux, le sanitaire propre. Mais à part de cela le décor est magnifique, magique! Une fôret avec une rivière, une petite cascade et un lac! Il y a même une petite ferme avec un cochon, des chèvre’s, deux pony. Idéal pour des familles; Les enfants peuvent se perdre tranquillement et sans risques dans leurs jeux et dans la fôret. On peut y aussi louer des tentes, des petites cabanes, tous merveilleusement décorées. Vraiment: il faut y aller!!!!
