Fresh local oysters and we also tried the fish tapas. Everything was tasty. The owner is friendly and we appreciated that he explained the menu to us in English. A great local place to taste some fresh seafood. No reservations are taken.

Do not miss this place if you like oysters and fresh seafood. The proprietor, Vincent, opens with Gallic reserve, but warms up quickly. He was on the phone with his Mother to enlist her help in finding a French friend of ours before we'd finished first round of oysters. Can't wait to return.

A super little place, their fish platter possibly the most delicious thing I've eaten in 3 months in St Malo, a pleasant quiet little gem of a place and the prorietaire a friendly guy, service was swift and the food and cidre excellent, my friend enjoyed his oysters and I the superb and very varied fish platter. Excellent all round in a nice quiet corner of St Malo, I thoroughly recommend it, I will certainly visit again when I'm in the mood for something fishy! 😊

Very good experience. The guy (probably owner and a cook) does it primarily for himself, in a city full of tourists it is very refreshing thing.

Great ambiance with seating on an old street of Saint Malo. If you even remotely enjoy eating fish then this place is great. The menu is limited to a plate of fish and oysters but it's really all you need. This was an exquisite yet simple meal, with honestly the best oysters in the world, and a beautiful selection of fish. Price was reasonable and experience was just sublime. The owners are incredibly nice and inviting, and make the place feel very cozy with a warm ambiance. Not a place to bring your kids though.

Interesting and quaint little shop off the main streets; friendly owner. Great recommendation for oysters and white wine to go with it. Butter with bread was nice too.

Highly courteous and professional service from the proprietor who seemed genuinely pleased that we visited his place today. He served up with a smile a dozen extremely fresh oysters and an assorted fish sampler plate (herring, sardines, octopus, smoked salmon and a mackerel pate) delicately adorned with tiny asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes and black olives. As a side he served a lovely basket of bread and crackers, which he refilled willingly, and some rich, savory butter and créme-fraiche. We washed it down with fresh milled apple juice and hard cider. The price was right and so was our instinct that day to dine outside at Tapas Breton.
