La Ferme De Malte

This classy restaurant has managed to escape our many years of search for high quality food in a high quality setting until now in this area. Four of us loved our evening visit both for the food, setting and professional staff. We were immediately impressed by the mask wearing staff and chose to dine on the outside terrace. I've attached a photo of the menu as we struggled to find a recent one online. Mainly seafood on offer with some alternative dishes for those that don't like seafood. There was no vegetarian dishes on the menu and I forgot to ask if they did any! Waiting staff were excellent and helped us overcome our poor french language skills to understand the menu. The restaurant is not easy to find as it is off  street behind on street houses. It has a large car park and lovely gardens. You need to dress well to pay it the respect, the setting, the food and it's staff deserve!

A great find and perfect stopover en route from the tunnel to Brittany. The rooms are lovely and spacious and incredibly good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner as well. The owners are very welcoming and clearly hard working and dedicated to high standards. Look for the interesting artwork in the dining room. Breakfast was excellent and it is an easy stroll into the delightful town with some great shops to explore.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Food excellent, staff very friendly and lovely surroundings. There is an outside terrace also where one can eat. Was recommended by French friends and only sorry I hadn’t known about it before. Will definitely eat there again.

Super authentic restaurant. You can feel the good preparation, good quality of food, cozy original rustic interior design. Makes me want to come back to this village for this restaurant. Satisfactory discovery in the end of the year :)

Excellent dîner dans une ambiance apaisée, cuisine goûteuse alliant simplicité et raffinement du goût. Bel endroit, au calme, vaste salle équipée de 2 cheminées (fonctionnelles en hiver), grand parking. Fraicheur des produits (poissons / viandes / légumes) irréprochable. Au détail près du vin de bordeaux (au verre) qui a manifestement atteint sa limite de vieillissement, c'est un sans faute ! Très bon rapport Qualité/prix. A recommander sans aucune retenue, et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci.

Magnifique restaurant avec vue sur les toits de Villedieu, que j’apprécie beaucoup pour son ambiance intimiste et sa cuisine délicieuse. Le jardin est magnifique et c’est un plaisir d’y déjeuner en terrasse. Le service est soigné et la cuisine (plutôt axée poisson) est parfaitement maîtrisée.

Venus pour prendre le déjeuner en famille, la ferme de Malte nous a enchanté. Le cadre est magnifique et agencé avec goût, nous avons pu même apercevoir un écureuil dans le jardin ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis et servis avec des plats frais et savoureux, merci à vous !

Dîner très tranquille au coin du feu de cheminée en un soir frais de printemps, en pleine semaine ! Belle cuisine normande, ce qu'il faut de raffiné sans en faire trop. J'ai pris Nage de langoustines et soles, et pavlova de fraises. Délicieux... Accueil agréable et cadre intimiste et protégé dans la verdure. Cela doit être aussi fabuleux quand il fait beau, sur la terrasse du jardin.
