Le Café Noir

If you are visiting Nice France, be sure to dine at this café. Service was just OK but the food was very good, best fries I’ve ever tasted. The drinks were excellent, especially the strawberry Mojito. Located in Old Town near the beach.

Lovely place to grab a bite. Pizza was delightful. I had the Reine.

I had a lovely meal here. Great staff, but busy. They let my dog in and were sweet to her. I ordered the €13 meal for a starter and main. It was really superb. Warm goats cheese salad. Then some fish that was cooked beautifully. Highly recommended. I would have taken photos, but I just wanted to eat the nice food.

We were going to the Le Comptoir next door but they were closed until September. But Le Cafe Noir more than made up for it with its awesome omelettes and the best service in France when the young waitstaff ran off to the bakery nearby to retreat our croissants and baquette. Pretty hilarious scene. Incredible omelettes with the farm fresh eggs that was love at first bite. Overall a memorable experience in Dinan.

I highly recommend this reastaurant. The staff is very kind and they offered us tap water and snacks while waiting for the main. The food is nice and the athmosfere is very relaxed. I Had a Camambert Roti with frites on a side and my friend a scallope. Food was nice and good quality.

Wide variety of dishes and a very efficient service for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A rare 4 out of 4 happy family members! Both kids enjoyed their meal (they have a kids menu with tagliatelle Bolognese, pizza, icecream etc), Dad was extremely happy with his duck breast in honey sauce, and Mum had a super tasty apple tart with icecream. The menu has English translations. We’d very happily eat here again - yum! 😋

The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. I like the personnel as they were very friendly and helpful. If you are visiting Dinan then I recommend stopping here for something to eat or a drink :)
