Restaurant le Médiéval à Riquewihr

Amazing restaurant with typical food of the region. I asked for the speciality and was delighted with a great dish! "La Riquewihrienne" had Green Sauerkraut which tasted excellent. Also had a good white wine of the region.

An excellent restaurant featuring the regional cuisine of Alsace. The pork knuckle with potates gratin was full of flavour with fall-off-the-bone tender ham. The bone-in chicken breast was tender with a wonderful gravy in pan fried spaetzle. Friendly service in English, French or German. Highly recommend this place

The service was incredible and the waiter really friendly. One of the only places where we felt welcomed as foreigners. We ordered tarté flambées, and they were way better than others. Location is also perfect and prices not too high, definitely recommended

Amazing food and espresso

Je recommande cet excellent restaurant avec de très bonnes spécialités alsacienne. Pour ma part j’avais pris les escargots et la choucroute, très copieux et savoureux.

Super resto, ambiance sympa et service impeccable! Un des lieus incontournables pour manger entre autre la fameuse choucroute verte... "la riquewhirienne", mais tout est bon!
Service uniquement les midi et pensez à réserver car l'adresse est bonne et les places sont limités 😊.

Lunes a las 12 el único sitio que nos pusieron una cerveza sin problemas, en todos los demás sitios de este bonito pueblo, aunque estuvieran vacíos, su respuesta era “solo comer” pues ellos se lo perdieron, el dueño de este restaurante súper agradable

Le Médiéval vous accueille chaleureusement dans une ambiance traditionnelle. Réservez à l'avance car le nombre de couverts est limité.
Craquez pour un gratin de spatzl au munster ou plus simplement pour une choucroute plus que garnie.
Vous ne serez ni déçu par la qualité, ni par la quantité, ni par le prix.
N'hésitez pas.

Un incontournable, service impeccable, sourire et attentions au top malgré une grosse affluence, des plats savoureux et copieux . La choucroute verte ( spécialité de Riquewihr) est un must a découvrir et savourer absolument!!!

Ristorante molto carino proprio al centro del paese (quasi sotto la torre), hanno subito fatto spazio per il passeggino e ci hanno fornito di seggiolone. Mi ha fatto piacere trovare nel menu' dei bimbi la pasta al burro (e non le solite cotolette e patatine fritte) visto che la mia bimba è piccina e mangia ancora cose semplici. Per quanto riguarda il menu' adulti, tutti i ristoranti qui servono piu' o meno le stesse cose... comunque le flammkuche erano ottime (anche la bimba ne ha gradito un pezzo), squisito l'ovetto nel padellino al forno con il formaggio locale (muster). Servizio gentile e veloce, prezzi economici rispetto agli altri ristoranti locali. Ottima scelta!

Nous sommes arrivés à ce restaurant par un grand hasard. Seul restaurant ouvert ce lundi et nous avons eu aucun regret bien au contraire. Reçu avec un accueil chaleureux. Découverte de certains plats. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
