What a venue! I travelled here before catching my ferry. It is conveniently located near several ports.

The castle is stunning and well looked after by the fabulous owners/managers. Extremely welcoming. The grounds and lovely and the beach and restaurants near by have plenty of character. I will be recommending this place to others.

We were on a family history trip, studying events in our ancestors lives. We chose the hotel for its historic value and felt we had stepped back in time. We loved it! The atmosphere was enchanting. Our hostess honored us, as Americans, in special ways. We loved the gardens, the pool, the authentic French breakfast, and the walk to the beach. Thank you for a lasting memory! We hope to return!

The hotel recently changed management and it was very interesting speaking with the new Hotel Director, who spoke to us in detail about what has been changed/is in the process of being renewed. Some reviews have said that the rooms are dated but once you know the context you understand why and makes you excited to see what they do!

The grounds are beautiful, we chose to have a picnic and they provided us with champagne glasses and anything else we needed to help celebrate our anniversary (we were even given a glass of champagne upon arrival)! The pool is a great size and is separate from the castle so it's open 24/7, which allowed us to go for a late-evening dip after dinner. Very clean and at a perfect temperature. Breakfast is very generous with all the essentials and fresh ingredients. Our bedroom was very spacious, comfy bed, we even had a jacuzzi bath.

A fabulous hotel with a warm welcome from the hosts who did their utmost to ensure our 2 night stay was enjoyable. Ideal location for the Cherbourg leg of our motorbike tour and very close to a lovely beach. Excellent buffet style breakfast with a wide choice and, for us tea drinkers, a kettle for boiling rather than just hot water.
If anyone read an earlier, unfavourable review, my apologies as that was meant for a hotel near Cambrai. I will definitely be staying here again.

The Chateau is absolutely amazing!!. Laetitia and family and all the staff make you feel like home and with their tips we had an incredible trip for the Cotentin.
The breakfast deserves an special mention, gorgeous!

Family stay! Couple and 10 year old daughter. We stayed for 9 nights. We received a lovely personal welcome from Nicholas and Laetitia. We were made to feel like we were the only guests ever received.
We travelled from Rosslare on the ferry, unfortunately we had a particularly rough crossing.
The calm and kind welcome we received was such a pleasant surprise.
We stayed in the maison, adjacent to the Chateau, in a beautiful, spacious room with luxurious spa-like corner bath and beautiful views of the courtyard.
My favourite part of this stay was opening the huge windows in the evening and enjoying the relaxing sounds of the birds cooing and singing, while breathing the clean fresh air.
The room was so comfortable, we had to force ourselves to rise for breakfast!
However, despite the comfort of the pristine cotton sheets, we couldn't resist the delicious breakfast.
Fresh, crusty baguette, freshly baked croissants, Madeline cakes, (I think) variety of breads, fresh fruit, cereal selection, dates, prunes and figs (I think) delicious anyway! Butter, variety of good quality probiotic yoghurts, honey, jams, cheeses, ham, prosciutto (I think) great quality coffee from two user friendly machines, teas and delicious juices. My favourite was the grapefruit, my husband and daugher enjoyed the pineapple, we think! It was delicious anyway!
After a few days Nicholas and Laeticia moved us to a gorgeous room in the Chateau. We had two huge windows overlooking the rear gardens, which includes a scenic lake with historic bridge, populated by a family of ducks!
Walking around this garden is a pure pleasure, although it was only April, the place was alive with nature.
The Chateau is so near all the local attractions, historical Ww2 museums, beaches, attractions, gorgeous towns, brocantes, cathedrals and natural beauty.
A fabulous experience, made perfect by the warm welcome of our lovely hosts.
We're so sad to leave, hopefully we'll be back again!
Magical place.

A gorgeous and elegantly welcoming hotel-castle, light.... both literally as in atmosphere. Our three night stay was close to like when you phantasize about castle life.
Staff is committed to its guests and pleasantly informative on the surroundings.

Just wondered by this amazing jewel… not only a lovely picturesque place but also the unique hospitality from Laetitia, fully recommendable for families or even a romantic couple vacay. Cozy rooms, abundant breakfast and spectacular surroundings

What is not to love about Rommel's abode from 1942-1944. The owners are charming, the lady of the house lived in Hertfordshire for many years so understands the British sense of humour. The grounds are lovely as is the pool, pond and greenhouses. Loved my room and breakfast. Seaside just down the road too.

c'est parfait; wunderbar; maravillosa; totally fantastic. Our second visit and it will not be the last. Perfect location for car ferry, and fast roads into rest of Normandy, Brittany and wherever. Excellent accommodation... lovely textured wallpaper in our courtyard room gave a super chateau-feel.

We spent a wonderful week in the magic castle of Quineville. The rooms , grounds and additional buildings are perfectly equipped to accommodate and make you feel confortable. We had the pleasure to stay for a week ( two families with kids of different ages and two dogs). Laetitia the host and manager of the castle was very hospitable, together with her whole team mase us feel like home. We plan to return soon and to spend more time and to experience the real normand life and to connect more with this wonderful people that made our stay really unforgettable. Lovely place to stay. We stopped by on a cycling tour of the Cotentin. Situated in attractive countryside and not far from the coast. Pleasant room, good breakfast and a nice welcome.

Old world charm was evoked throughout my stay at the Hôtel Du Chateau De Quineville, and complemented by the gracious Letitia’s welcoming warmth from the moment I entered the Chateau. Normandie, France, is enshrined with a sense of history. Our drive revealed towns maintained as they were when its beaches were stormed. The facilities of the Chateau respects that history, while providing the modern utility expected. If you insist on a Four Seasons’s experience you might look elsewhere. If you prefer to gain insight to a local experience, or the imagination to live as a guest in the country house of noble the Hôtel Du Chateau De Quineville is perfect. In all my varied travels I have never enjoyed a place more.
Unfortunately, save for breakfast, the restaurant was closed due to the illness of the chef. However, Letitia referred us to the Hotel de la Plage Restaurant. More than good food was provided, unpretentious and genuinely nice people made us feel very much at home. When they learned we were leaving they even provided us with gifts of remembrance.
There is no more welcoming place for Americans. The regard of the people of Normandy for allies who liberated the region from the Nazi’s is palpable. I hope, and expect, to go to the Chateau again to share the experience with my daughter.

For a real authentic experience, this is absolutely the place to be! Beautiful chateau, on a beautiful ground. Lovely garden and terras. We will defiantly be coming back to this hotel, and the beautiful area of Normandy. Also really nice and friendly personel.

Found a proper little gem here. Well appointed rooms, delicious continental b/fst. Really is only 10mins walk from beach set amongst stunning grounds.

Amazing castle surrounded by beautiful nature. The hosts are wonderfully friendly and the quality of food is unbelievable. Highly recommend staying here!!

Nicholas and Letitia are a superb couple that manage this great Chateau. Super place to stay if you are visiting Normandy
