Secret Garden

We discovered this place a bit by chance during our trip from La Vendée to Périgord. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They have been able to accommodate a table for 4 people despite the fact that we didnt book and it was starting to be busy time. And the food was quite good. I warmly recommend.

Popped in for a quick lunch whilst working in Melle.
Service was first class, lovely atmosphere.
I had the vegetarian burger, I can honestly say it was the best burger I have ever had.
Will definitely be returning, first class dining experience.

Fabulous food and one of the ladies that waited on us was incredible, she went out of her way for me given I was gluten free. Cocktails may seem a little pricy but worth it!!

Excellent meal. Good size portions. Reasonable prices. Very friendly english speaking staff. Used to eat here when we first moved here, but then saw it became "burger bar" so didn't go again. However a few people had recommended it, so we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did. We will definitely be going back again.

Lovely hidden away restaurant just off of the main square. Service was very friendly and they spoke fluent English which was unexpected but very welcomed. We ate from the set menu which offered a reasonable choice and was very tasty. The tempura prawns on the starters are amazing!

Surprise surprise, sitting outside, just having menu midi for just 10,80€, piece of beef was grilled perfectly on medium rare, home made fries with little salad, and a dessert of your choice. Very good price / menu relationship. Will come back to try from menu printemps. Merci

Had a fantastic lunch here. The waitresses were very good and spoke fluent English to us. We all had different dishes and they were yummy. Definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant.

The duck burger with foie gras was amazing! Honestly the best burger I ever had. We had take away so can't really judge the rest but really nice waitresses and nice place!

Honestly I didn’t have any expectation since it’s a burger resto, but boi how I am glad I was wrong! Must absolutely try the duck burger with foie gras 🤤 Decent desserts and cocktails too.

A nice surprise in Melle. Alle other restaurants around Secret Garden seem to have closed, but Secret Garden survives and offers a pleasant atmosphere and good food at a good price.
