Café Plùm

What an excellent find. We were staying nearby and happened upon Cafe Plum whilst exploring Lautrec. Despite our limoted french, we were treated with a warm welcome. What a beautiful little spot. Everything feels very independant, which is right up my alley. We returned today for brunch, and despite not booking (recommended), they fit us in. We will definitely return on our next trip to Lautrec.

A wonderful place with magic ambient. Books, ingenious tables, good people, music, good decorations... Everything is perfect in this little secret of Lautrec! I would recommend any person (tourist as me or resident) to go to that local if you are near!

I liked this place, I can imagine it get quite lively and jazzy, in the evenings. The wall art is very interesting and made from an imaginative mind.
food and service were excellent, and if you are in the area, evening it's just for a cup of coffee do definitely call in at anytime.

Had a fantastic evening here watching the Aniel Someillan Quartet who were just excellent. The cafe has a great atmosphere with good solid no-nonsense food and drinks. Their programme of music in July and August is outstanding.

Delightful countercultural cafe, bookstore and venue. Lots of atmosphere and a beautiful space. Always call to book if you want to sit to eat.

Lautrec is a wonderful medieval town and well worth a visit as is Cafe Plum. Hidden away with a lovely courtyard shaded in part by a tree but also has parasols for the very hot days in the south of France. Menu is limited to one meat and one vegetarian but it was perfect for lunchtime. Meat option the day I visited was boudin blanc and noir (white and black sausage) at 13€ and goats cheese on toast 12€. Both with different variety of fresh salad. Lovely puddings too of lemon tart or ice creams. Quite bohemian atmosphere and music events in the evening. Will definitely go again.

A must during your visit in Lautrec. The best quality/price ratio I’ve ever seen in France so far, in the most beautiful setting possible. What more could you want?

A must place when visiting Lautrec. One of the weiters was rude, but we still enjoyed our evening here, for the live music and uniqueness.

Inside or outside it's atmospheric, the menus is limited but really good value and quality.
