My daughter and I found this hidden gem one night during a visit to Saint Malo. Super atmosphere with eclectic decorations and super rock & roll music. Well worth seeking out.

Edit - After response from the establishment - The explanation is very reasonable. I alter my review to reflect this and give five stars for this response as it shows they care to reply to potential customers and explain the problem on that day. They certainly deserve another chance.

I wanted to visit this bar on recommendation of a friend. I arrived at the advertised opening time, opened the door but before I got past the curtain I was told they are closed by a faceless voice. I asked in French what time they opened and they said 1 hour. OK, fair enough, but please update your advertised hours. I had already waited in another bar for The Alchemist to open and was now annoyed. Made worse when two locals walked in bravely and were not told the same and did not come back out. Disappointed, I got back on a bus and left for other places to spend an evening's money elsewhere. Sour experience. Is it a good bar? I couldn't tell you.

Best most banging pub in Saint Malo if you want a great late night out somewhere with a great atmosphere, open till 3am, always a great crowd and very friendly, easy to meet new people, their apricot tasting IPA the best in Saint Malo. If you're looking for the best party in Saint Malo for a night out, you've found it, THE place for a late drink or 3 in Saint Malo!

I am sad to be going home tomorrow as this would be my new favourite place. It's quirky and a hidden gem , barman Nico- awesome guy!

Fantastic bar! Awesome service and a great selection of beers and homemade runs! An absolute must! The decoration is very original, there’s a pool table downstairs too!

Fun bar with amusing decor & very friendly vibe. A must if you are in St Malo & looking for something a little different.

Very nice bar/pub. Very well recieved by the barman with a short but excelent choices of on the tap beers! Great pleace to drink and talk with friends!

Super bar que j'ai plaisir à fréquenter à chaque quai des bulles. Bonne ambiance, large choix de bières, personnel sympa. Le top pour passer une bonne soirée.e petit plus : leur shooter flambé

Venez vous poser dans cet endroit chaleureux, l'équipe de Nathalie est super cool, Batou est excellent, nous avons passé notre dernière soirée des vacances mais j'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir lors d'un prochain séjour, si vous passez par là arrêtez vous.

Petit bar de nuit à st Malo intramuros, bon accueil, ambiance festive mais sans excès.
Un large choix de bière et de cocktails, des prix convenables compte tenu de la situation géographique.
