Black List Café

During our travels around Bordeaux, we stumbled upon this gem, and it was definitely a treat! The coffee here is top-notch, rivaling some of the best I've had in the area. Plus, it's the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the bustling atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out!

Small café with great coffeea & small menu with 4-5 dishes and alternatives add-ons (bacon or trout)

I was here on my specialty coffee tour after work. It was 10/10. Amazing coffee. Amazing origins and producers. They source ethically and the staff was amazing !

We had the pancakes (savory) with eggs and bacon and the cheeseburger. Pancakes had a very good fluffy and chewy texture. The chef hand chopped a slab of meat for the cheeseburger, which was delicious.

The best pancakes I have eaten in a very long time. The recipe is just fantastic.
The service and vibes are very nice too, we’ll come back!

Delicious breakfast/brunch for reasonable prices (€15 for pancakes+hot drink+cake). One of the best savory pancakes I’ve ever had. It’s nice to see the chef preparing the dishes in the open kitchen. The café is very central, right next to the Cathedral.

Great little coffee shop right in the center of Bordeaux. I enjoyed a creamy flat white right across the street from Cathedrale Saint Andre. Staff is super friendly, and don't worry if your French is not up to par they also speak English 😁

It’s been hard to find good filter coffee in France and this place was perfect, I had a chemex pour over and it was perfect, really friendly staff and overall was an awesome experience! I wish more places in France had coffee like this

Best coffee in Bordeaux with great service. Love the minimalist style and use of space to create a homely warm coffee space. You are always welcome to do some work on your laptop and enjoy the coffee. No place comes close to creating the same experience in Bordeaux

Great cafe. High quality coffee, relaxed and cozy atmosphere, kind and helpful staff… I enjoyed sitting in with a cuppa and laptop (there are Wi-Fi and electricity connections). highly recommended!

I love this place! It's a small quiet and cozy place where you can work on your computer while you enjoy your coffee or just have and amazing breakfast. Everything is so tasty and good and the waitress is really kind.

Great specialty coffee shop, offering freshly roasted beans supplied from several roasters. Nice place for people-watching :) Friendly and patient staff who happily fulfilled my peculiar coffee orders :) I tried several beans, which were prepared just right. The place has a range of food options.

Great coffee options and amazing service, all the inside details are lovely. books, posters, t-shirt and the open kitchen makes you feel the honest and unpretentious concept, the relaxed ambience is also great to go and read a book or work in a laptop.

Outstanding coffee shop! Cozy and small on the inside, delicious coffee and snacks (the BEST peanut butter-miso cookies and other delights + sandwiches). Very warm welcome too.

Tried the juices as recommended by other people; I had the Apple, fennel and ginger which was the juice of the day, it was 100% juice! Quality I would say but slightly pricey!

I ordered the croque madame as well. LOVED IT. Bread was lightly toasted, crispy and soft in the centre. The egg was well cooked and the ham and cheese.. 😍 fragrant! We had the brownie too, it’s really chocolatey, which I didn’t expect!

Really small place though. Might come back if I was in Bordeaux. There are sockets too if you would like to study or use your laptops there!
