A truly stunning building. From the outside it doesn't give away just how beautiful the glass is when you're inside. Well worth the walk a few minutes from the centre to view.

There were also some interesting boards inside on the history of the area and building.

This is probably the most famous thing to see in Le Havre. It is a beautiful church with a very cool tower with stained glass all throughout it. We saw on the Internet that people climbed to the top of the tower. When we visited (on a Monday) the steps to the tower were locked. And there were actually no employees to ask. There was no fee to enter. The doors were just open.

Lovely modern church based around a central altar which in turn sits beneath a tall tower covered in stained glass windows. The four sides of the tower primarily feature four different colours. The result is beautiful coloured light effects which change as the sun moves across the sky during the day.

Visiting this church was one of the greatest and most meaningful experiences of my life. The building is simply stunning - impossible to adequately capture in words. I lit a candle for my departed daughter. 10 years on but never forgotten.

Looks unobtrusive from the outside, step into it though especially on a bright day and you are in for a treat

It was a quiet, sunny Thursday. I decided to catch a train and wander around Le Havre. This church caught my sight in the first place, and it was an honour to visit here. The rays light up the small glass window, which creates a breathtaking picture. I felt like I had entered another world that did not belong to this present—must-visit place, when you come to Le Havre.

Amazing architecture, beautiful glass work, free admission.
Wonderful atmosphere, it doesn't look like a normal church because of its lack of religious artefacts. It feels very peaceful.

Impressive, must see. Photos don't do it justice. There's also an interesting exhibition with historical photographs of Le Havre.

You must visit this amazing church if you’re around! Fascinating architecture with symmetrical patterns.. lovely colors of the stain glass arts. Contemporary church which you can’t see anywhere else.

What a beautiful church, I lovely walk upto it past some boutique shops, it's cold inside but the stained glass and serenity is wonderful. €2 cash to light a small candle if you are thinking of this, no cards here as far as I can see. Free to enter here too.

Not like the other churches you see in the world. Constructed with concrete. Stain glass windows have different tone of colors on different sides. The alter is in the centre of the church.

Simply stunning. Monumental and brutalist, this church is a must see on a sunny day. Not only is it a good refuge from the heat, but also you see all the colour the windows have play on the wall

Amazing church!! The secret is inside. When you go in, you see all the lights coming inside the church through the colored windows. You will be amazed when you enter. After passing the door, you go down passing the chairs, then you look up to the top. Impressing!

We toured the Church and found some very nice statues and artifacts inside. The town surrounding the Church is a very quiet and quaint little town. The people seemed to live very simply and seemed to be quite contented with how they live. Lots of souvenirs shops around where you can shop to your hearts content.

Went to this beautiful church in Aug 2018, its sanctuary dedicated to Saint Joseph and also a memorial in memory of war victims. The architecture of this church is beyond words. Its one of the tallest buildings in Le Havre, France. When you enter the church the light coming through the coloured glasses near the altar will make anyone speechless.

Beautiful church. This church is one of kind masterpiece. The stained glass work is pure craftsmanship. I wish I could have attended a mass here and may try to do so on a return trip to France. You can sit in awe and pray for a long time in a peaceful beautiful church like this. Very modern Stations of the Cross, unique confessionals, and simple alter. Great displays and explanations of meanings in the back of the church. Be sure to check out the spiral staircase climbing up the central tower. I’d say the best attraction in Le Havre!

You have to see it…
From the outside it looks ugly, too tall and nothing like a church. The texture, form and colors are not matching with the idea we all have on our heads.
Once inside, it is a mix of a church an official session hall and a futuristic building. The light enters through the numerous coloured crystals and makes the concrete have another vibe. It is very unique and different

Thought the idea of a Britalist church was contradictory... but it works! The stained glass humanized the girders and concrete. Glad I gave it a chance...

A truly impressive monument, a temple of modern art and spirituality. The ambiance inside is beautifully contemplative and serene. An ode to human imagination and skill. Wonderful.
