Great restaurant if you are staying around Mont Saint Michel! They have plenty of options and also offer menus. My boyfriend got a menu with the fish soup, faux-fillet with camembert sauce and the creme brulee, and I had the nordic salad and the tarte tatin. We also shared some cheeses and had some cocktails. Everything was delightful! We also recommend making a reservation as the place seems very popular :)

It's a very busy restaurant. The service was fast and they can cater to tourist. Child friendly. The food portions are good and taste also good. Price is okay for 3 course meal. Definitely recommended. I forgot to take a picture of our main dish though 😅

My family and I have been in France for two weeks and this meal has been our best meal yet so far! Our waiter was beyond gracious to us. I over heard another customer get upset about something that wasn’t the waiters fault and threatened to give the restaurant a bad review with a one star. I think it’s awful how people think that’s ok to do to a small businesses that are very good just to be a jerk. Thank you to the waiter for helping my family create incredible memories with incredible food!!!!!!!

I had a Buckwheat crepe with smoked salmon, honey glazed goat cheese and a herb cream and it was a super delicious high quality dish. The service was very friendly and efficient - I can very much recommend to dine here.

Very good restaurant experience with efficient waiters and fast service. Full bar … try the mojito Normand! The cod and mussels were delicious. Salted caramel panna cotta and crème brûlée topped off the meal.

Everything we had was amazing! We heard that lamb, seafood and dairy products were the regional speciality so we made sure to try some. I had the lamb stew which was so soft and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

The waiter was so smiling and nice that gave a great sense of welcoming. The food was really delicious and the menu in particular was a great compromise in terms of nice food and great prices, allowing good choices. I would come back again

Had a lovely evening meal here, The staff are very friendly, our dog was welcome here also, food was excellent would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

This has to be the best value to really good French cooking for miles around. I had the fixed priced meal that included mussels with cream and they were the best I have had outside of Antwerp years ago. Service was quick and friendly.

The beef steak with pepper, omg, best in France so far. The lady boss is moody often when she busy. Nothing can take away from her good culinary skill. Fresh seafood , fresh steak

The food was great and the staff very friendly. The food was of good quality. I had the steak (faux filet) and it tasted very good. Café gourmand always a great choice for desert! They were also kids friendly.
To address some other reviews that were saying that people weren’t treated well because they were not speaking French. We absolutely did not make the same experience. We are not French but speak French and our waiter was switching to English just to be friendly. Everyone was nice to us.

My wife and I had the Galette Complet. Savory crepe that came with a glass of cidre. Recommend a reservation unless you get there early. Food was delicious.

Gosh, THE best lamb stew I have ever had in my entire life! D’agneau lamb is absolutely not overly hyped, so good!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are soooo very happy that we found this pearl after the disappointing restaurants around Mont St Michel. Fantastic Food, pleasant staff. Shout-out to the dude with the Anime Tats, you made our day!

Best meal we’ve had so far in France! I had the salmon with pasta & the crudites salad. My husband had the peach crepe for dessert (Crepe Melba) & it looked divine! Go early if you don’t have a reservation.

I took the menu which included an appetizing salad with duck and bacon, followed by a lamb stew perfectly made. After that came cheese and a tarte tatin with apples and caramel sauce. All of the food was amazing! Especially given the affordable prices. The waiting staff was very accommodating and even when it was busy we didn't feel forgotten.

I would definitelu return!

Great food, we visited in this restaurant twice and loved all the food we had, especially this dessert "floating island"
