This unique setting, nesstled between village and mountain is where luxury meets nature.
As a family of three, this Skandinavien wooden cabin concept offered the perfect chance for a break away from the hustle and bustle of our busy daily lives. Although we stayed only one night, we felt recuperated and refreshed upon leaving the next day.
The friendly and helpful staff supported us with every small little need we expressed. Thank you for giving your utmost best to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.
What really touched me deeply was the passion, love and time that goes into growing the vegetables and greens in the garden. Although reconstructed to be presented like a piece of art in the restaurant, the earthly origin remained in the taste. It was clear that every fine little detail was well thought through and carefully planned in order to bring forward the best attribute of every ingredient going on the plate. Chef Frédérique has this amazing ability to transform every course into a masterpiece. An explosion of flavour, well balanced with just the right amount of acidity to refresh the palate was served with finesse and pride!
We were so excited about this amazing chef‘s approach in the kitchen that we bought a gift voucher for a friend as a birthday gift.
Personally , I cannot wait to taste more of his authentic creations!

48 degré nord was a remarkable discovery. The cabins, with their unique design, felt like an extension of the stunning natural landscape that enveloped us, offering a tranquil escape.

Breakfast was a delight, serving freshly sourced fruits and melt-in-your-mouth croissants, eggs and veggies.

The service stood out for its genuine warmth and attentiveness, adding to the overall exceptional experience.

We're already looking forward to our next visit and will be recommending this gem to our family and friends.

Great hotel with great concept. The wooden cabins are amazing, the service great & the breakfast has amazing local food! We had a bottle of white sprakling wine for us ready in the cabin which was a sweet attention.
The view is also beautiful and you are in a peaceful place in the mountainsin the middle of nature. Would 100% recommend!

The Originals Relais 48 Nord is calm and authentic location in the mountains. Ideal for a weekend itinerary. The houses are distrubuted along the slope of the mountain, providing enough privacy.

We really appreciated our time and the dining experience with local ingredients was as well remarkable.

The rooms themselves are an attraction. I’ll remember staying here for a long time. The food matches the elegant and unique lodging - it is delicious and carefully prepared. The hotel is walking distance to hikes and short driving distance to many others, so you can definitely enjoy the beautiful Vosges here - with the incredible views from your room, and the lovey hikes surrounding. We’ll definitely return!

We stayed for two days this later summer in the hotel. and it was so relaxing. you are just surrounded by nature. waking up by the bird's singing, and walking in the forest. do consider if you need to book a table in hotel restaurant as there's not much around :)

Location: the view from the hotel and all rooms is just stunning, completely open to a green valley with mountains in the background. You can easily go on hikes walking from the hotel, or from a few miles away if you want to explore further. Lots of hikes accessible for all levels. It's also a good area if you want to explore wine tasting
Rooms: simple but luxurious at the same time, with huge windows looking to the outside. Scandinavia inspired with a lot of wood. We had a jacuzzi attached to our house which felt like an extra treat. every house also comes with a small outside space where you can look to the valley
Food: incredible. we came during Covid so everything was brought to our room. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Only local and organic products are used. Would also highly recommend getting a drink before dinner on the restaurant terrace.
Welcome/hosts: this might be the best part but the hosts are incredibly friendly. A young couple embarked on this adventure and are happy to tell you about how they conceived the hotel and all the plans they have for the future. They are trying to build a local community around the hotel, have an organic local market every Sunday, etc...
Spa: you can also get massages on premise

Un magnifique restaurant qui dépayse totalement. On voyage (déjà pour y aller), on découvre des saveurs plutôt originales et dans un cadre somptueux.
A l'occasion d'une soirée accords mets et cocktails l'ambiance était très décontractée et les saveurs des cocktails très osées, mais toujours en accord avec les plats.
J'aurais peut être préféré avoir un peu plus dans mon assiette. Alors oui c'était très bon mais cela avait le goût du encore...
Prévoir des chaussures adaptées pour profiter à fond du restaurant, oui, il faut un peu marcher pour y accéder.

Chambre atypique avec une belle vue sur la vallée de Breitenbach. Nous disposions d'un logement avec bain nordique.
Les chambres sont très lumineuses, également tôt le matin, ce qui limite un peu la grasse matinée 😊
Check in/out chaleureux.
Possibilité de dîner à l'hôtel le soir. Menu en 4 ou 6 plats,avec possibilité de prendre accord mets et vins. Service très agréable, bravo.

Un lieu parfait pour une parenthèse bien-être.
La vue y est exceptionnelle.
Le calme ajoute un sentiment de plénitude complété par le bain nordique.
Le personnel est très accueillant et le restaurant très sympa.
On y sert une cuisine très technique, peut-être trop à notre goût. Nous avons trouvé que ce n'était pas assez gourmand, mais saluons le travail.
Nous reviendrons assurément.

Nous avons passé un week-end mémorable ! Déconnexion en pleine nature, avec une vue magnifique ! Lodge très confortable, avec son bain nordique privatif pour en profiter en toute intimité. Le personnel est d’une sincère gentillesse et d’un grand professionnalisme. Et le repas un vrai régal, préparé par un chef passionné, avec de bons produits locaux et de saison. Je conseille +++

Nous avons passé une nuit avec dîner au restaurant et petit déjeuner le lendemain. Globalement nous sommes ravis de l'expérience : le logement original était confortable, en immersion dans la nature et offrait une vue magnifique. Je recommande de prendre une hytte avec bain nordique, vraiment très agréable et en plus disponible dès notre arrivée alors que si nous avions opté pour un jacuzzi il aurait fallu attendre 20h le temps qu'il chauffe après le nettoyage effectué entre chaque hôte. Petit conseil, ce serait pratique de prévoir une petite patère abritée pour pendre les peignoirs à côté du bain. Restaurant parfait, beau cadre, plats originaux, belle présentation, pour ceux qui n'ont pas peur d'expérimenter de nouvelles saveurs. En tout cas pour les sceptiques je tiens à mentionner que nous n'avions plus faim en sortant. Petit déjeuner excellent, pas une variété énorme mais pour nous l'essentiel était là, pas besoin de plus. Et pour finir, personnel très accueillant, du début à la fin. On reviendra avec plaisir, merci à toute l'équipe.

Très bonne expérience à l'hôtel 48°Nord ! Nous nous y sommes rendus à vélo (attention cela monte !).
- L'équipe (hôtel, yoga et restaurant) est très sympathique et à l'écoute pendant le séjour mais aussi en amont pour la préparation
- Le lieu est très beau, perché dans la nature avec de belles vues ; les chambres sont agréables (privilégier les chambres de plein pieds si vous avez des difficultés de déplacement ; les chambres sur plusieurs étages sont dans un esprit cabane très cosy) ; l'espace détente avec sauna, bain nordique et salle de repos est très appréciable
- Très bon cours de yoga avec Léa qui s'est parfaitement adaptée à nos envies et niveaux disparates
- La cuisine du restaurant est excellente et les vins délicieux : à faire absolument
- Possibilité de faire de très belles boucles à vélo à proximité. Les trajets depuis la gare de Sélestat et jusqu'à Strasbourg en passant par les villages sont magnifiques également (possibilité de louer des vélos électriques à l'hôtel).

Nous avons passez un super séjour, hute original, calme,propre et bien équipé.
Nous avons aussi eu la chance de goûter à la cuisine du chef Frédéric.
Une très belle découverte en texture et saveur. Nous nous sommes régalé.
