Nice French restaurant serving traditional fair at lunch time

After having driven for miles, in a very isolated area of France, we had given up hope of eating when we came across this bistro/cafe in a small Mille-Vache village. Staff were very welcoming, food was very good; typical bistro menu, and you could buy local honey etc from the attached shop. What's not to like! Paul Firminger.

One of the best places to eat or just go for a coffee. The food is always first class. A good selection too. The boutique is a lovely addition the staff are friendly and helpful. Couldn't be more positive about this venue.

Great atmosphere and from the tiniest restaurant, excellent food, great value for money. Definitely worth a visit particularly on market day, which is Tuesday.

Good, tasty, locally sourced food. Constantly changing menu. Friendly, efficient staff. Good value. A surprisingly good shop in there too. Reserve a table in Summer.
