Absolutely divine dining experience. The chef is a culinary genius, each plate more delicious than the one before it. Attentive service, lovely relaxed atmosphere, great wine pairings.

Totally amazing. What a brilliant find. The chef is a genius and mixes all the flavours to perfection. All the little touches they add to the dishes and the experience are superb. No spoilers but if you like trying new flavours and tasting menu's you'll find very few better.

Thank you for the most wonderful food experience of my life! Each of the seven courses was a masterpiece in its own right. They just kept coming and the tastes ranged from subtle to bold, with much creativity and thoughtfulness. Well done, and bravo!

Expensive but worth it as a one off blow out holiday meal. The menu is a surprise & not advertised which might not suit everyone not knowing what you are going to eat.
Gluten free & nut allergy were no problem in our party of eight, the dishes were adapted accordingly.
Relaxed atmosphere, food very good.
We had the seven course tasting menu & the portions were good sizes. Left feeling very satisfied & full.

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by Paul and Charlotte from Maison Montruff. What a fabulous recommendation. Our group went for the 7 options at €90 each. Not cheap but to say the food and service was first class doesn’t do it justice. The waitress Marylou was very attentive and explained each dish. I should also say that the restaurant caters for allergies and have Gluten Free options and substitutes. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If your in the area and want top quality food and service then please do visit. They will not disappoint you.

Absolutely hands down this is the best meal I have ever eaten in my 49 years on this planet! Absolutely 1st class service from the greeting, through table service and knowledge of the food and ability to pair the perfect wines to the courses. Would thoroughly recommend anyone who is in the area and likes 5star food and service. Book a table and be blown away by the artistry in the presentation and the chemistry involved in creating so many intense flavours per dish!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Amazing dishes, great (French, german and english speaking) hosts and chef! It is more of a summer-garden restaurant, but also with the more ‘autumny vibes’ it was a great experience!!

We've been coming to Le Petit Leon every year for 6 years and every time our experience was lovely. We've been twice this summer, once for dinner and once for lunch, the chef altered our menu the second time so the experience was vastly different, but equally enjoyable - if not more. Especially the vegetarian dish with fermented rice, risotto, corn and sunflower seeds was superb. The quality of the food, wine and knowledge of the waiting staff is impeccable. We will definitely be back and bring all of our friends.

An exceptional dining experience amidst the serene countryside. Words can't do justice to the complete journey. Superbly crafted dishes paired with exquisite wines, all presented with a focus on local sourcing. The impeccable waitstaff and service elevate the entire experience to new heights.
It is a must-have experience.

100% the best place we have eaten out in the area by a long way. We had a taster menu with wine pairing for lunch - All course, wines, service and settings were perfect! Thank you Le Petit Leon for an amazing memory.

Well, a super evening with the most amazing food and wine selection, with relaxed informative staff. We've had a lovely evening with friends sampling probably the best food we've eaten in France to date, and set in a cosy atmosphere, thanks for the lift back to our hotel chef, really enjoyed the chit chat...Good luck with your future, we'll be back soon 😀.

Great garden restaurant - sadly only open in July and August. Been a thing for several years now - each yer getting better and better. Wirth a detour if you are going through the area to visit Lascaux.

This is no normal French restaurant. We had the 4 course menu which was set for everyone. It was like a showcase of what can be done with local produce and presented in a way we normally only see on MasterChef. It was like an assault on the taste buds and every mouthful made us gasp with delight
I also added the wine pairing with each course and that was perfectly selected.
The waitresses were wonderful too, not just delivering food, but talking about it and having a conversation with everyone. It made us feel special in a special place, even though we were sitting outside wearing shorts and sleeveless shirts and not looking special at all.

One of those places you want to pin on your map, brag about with your foody friends (French snubs included), tell them how you're good at picking food routes as travel destinations and not the other way around...how you were pampered with Sensei mousse which demolished every veggie stock you've made from "scratch", how those fluffy miniature meringues topped with wasabi flavored raw tuna and saffron-like seaweed melted in your mouth...and on and on, go to Le petit Léon, do not think too soft of its little bistrot-ish name and relaxed white-tablecloth-less atmosphere, it's serious food lover stuff from the Michelin like type without the star and the price tag.

Beautiful garden restaurant with open kitchen. The menu is all set for the day, and the staff will kindly work around any allergies or dislikes you may have. Everything is sourced locally. The plates look gorgeous! Compliments to the chef!
