Maison Gambetta Arcachon

A great dinner option in this small town that was open late. We arrived a little after 9pm and were seated promptly (no reservations needed).

The lighting and decor was dim and cozy, there was a huge mirror behind the bar that made the place extra vintage. We tried two main courses and a salad which apparently was meant as a main course itself because it was huge and our server got slightly confused when we ordered the three dishes :).

The Caesar salad was fresh, tasty and had breaded chicken added. I had the tuna + rice dish which was extra delicious, and my partner tried the grilled half chicken which again was tasty and high quality. The drinks came fast and were super great. Overall a great dinner experience that made us happy and full!

Really liked this place. For food and service. We had a great server, he was checking in once he saw we were low on drinks or food - really just offerred a great service. We had cheese to start with (great cheese with the white wine) and then went for tuna & octopus. Both were super tender and had a great taste.

The place is also super pretty, both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place. Cozy ambience. We watched the telecast of the Rugby World Cup in here. Inside seating was very nice too. The staff were very nice, accommodating and attentive too.

I had the fettuccine arrabbiata which was very tasty. Loved the panko chicken starter with wasabi mayo sauce. Even my friend who is not a fan of wasabi liked it so much. We had pavlova for dessert and it was very good as well.

Atmosphere place not far from the beach promenade. Delicious fish and cold local white wine. The waitress was very friendly.

The cafe was located close to Arcachon Railway Station. The exterior was decorated with artificial flowers.
It was a good place for me to wait for the train time, wrapping up the Arcachon trip. The staff were friendly.

We saw the cute facade our first evening in Arcachon, so we decided to try it out before we left. As we approached, we asked for a table. Their answer, it’s our home, choose where we would like to sit. Our server was so kind to us & to the locals he knew as they passed by. The avocado toast was delicious, as were our poke bowl & beef tartare. We truly enjoyed our evening here.

I visited in now season so I don't know what the wait time is like in july/august but we were seated immediately. The food was very good, the staff are very friendly and their halloween decor is amazing. All in all I recommend it

Cadre chaleureux avec une belle décoration.
J’ai pris le magret de canard au miel avec son gratin dauphinois, la cuisson était impeccable, le goût savoureux et l’assiette bien chaude. Le dessert, je conseille le cœur coulant au chocolat, il était excellent !!
Le pain était excellent également.
Service rapide.
Je recommande à 100%

De passage dans la région, ce restaurant vaut le détour. La cuisine est très bonne et le service correct. La jolie décoration du lieu rajoute un grand plus à cet établissement. Léger petit bémol pour le bruit mais cela peut se comprendre en jour de grande affluence…
