Gina Bordeaux

Hello Everyone ! We enjoyed the GINA during a cold evening in April, of course we didn’t appreciated the view on the terrace as we should we still saw the beauty of the place.

Food is generous even if not surprising but still really tasty, the service is all about professionalism and smiles, very nice team with us but also with anyone in the room at this moment.

Finally the atmosphere is great as should be every Italian restaurant ! One problem : they present a fish dish as “vegetarian” 🤦🏻‍♂

Thank you and we will come back !

A must go destination in Citie Du Vin. Incredible rooftop views at one of the highest restaurants in Bordeaux with exceptional service and very interesting cocktails. Wonderful scenes of the Garonne and the extraordinary architecture of Citie Du Vin museum as well as sunsets. Unless you go during the daytime, be advised to book in advance.

We went for Sunday brunch. It was pretty busy, but not too crazy. For 40€, it was a very good deal. We will definitely go again and I will recommend to other Expats. Bordeaux ’Brunch’ offerings can range from bizarre to disgusting. This place had a wide variety of tasty options and a beautiful location. We will ask to sit outside under the sun shade next time.

We visited Gina for breakfast.
First we were welcomed by very kind worker who showed us where we can find coffee machines, salt dishes, bread etc. The stuff was m kind and nice!
The restaurant is spacious, light, buffet is well organised. Even the cutlery and plates looked very stylish.
The variety of food is wide: fresh made juices, a lot of sweet cakes, different type of yogurts, nuts, fruits, etc..even Tiramisu:)
In sum, the amazing breakfast and professional stuff made our experience unforgettable, we will definitely be back!

Too bad it was rainning the day we’ve been there, so we didn’t have chance to enjoy the rooftop, but otherwise it was avery good experience, nice view, delicious food.. !

Very nice rooftop and you could see all of Bordeaux from here. I highly recommended to visit.

Very good service, amazing food and impressive plating. The second waiter who comes to our table from time to time extremely young and very professional! Cocktails a bit stronger for our taste, wine was good, desserts were dolci, pasta, pizza and the starters amazing. There was no item we ordered that was not licking fingers good! Of course the view is unbeatable! The only downside was that at the cash desk they gave me 20€ change in coins, which was absurd.

It was such a great experience having brunch at Gina Restaurant in Bordeaux. The first year we spent Christmas away from our family but with our hearts full of love because of our twin babies.
The team understood our needs and welcomed us with a nice place to enjoy our brunch with a view to La Cité du Vin.
The food was amazing! Delicious lobsters, prawns and escargots to amuse the seafood lovers. The risotto, gnocchi and burrata were just perfect! Bravo to all Gina’s team. We hope to get back soon.

Nice variety menu, everything we ate was cooked very well. Mid range prices with good sized portions, overall good value for money. Unfortunately we're not able to sit outside due to the weather!

Gina Bordeaux offers an exceptional view of the Cité du Vin, and their staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The cocktails are delightful, and while the food is okay, it leans towards the pricier side. However, considering the overall experience, it remains a great choice.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We went for brunch. Nice seating on the terrace with views of the river and Cite du Vin. Excellent service with a smile by all the staff. The salads were nice specially the prawn cous cous, eggplant with Labneh simple but good, burratta, fresh mozzerella , roasted crunchy pita with olive oil & herbs. I didnt think the cooked food looked appetizing but the regional beef dish seemed popular (my friend enjoyed it) and kids were enjoying the pizza. Raspberry macaroon w/ cream had too much cream and not enough raspberries I felt. Several other desserts were good. But the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with caramel swirls were simply outstanding... we waited 30 minutes for them to prepare more and they were kind enough to give some of them for us to take home. Nicely done.

Just did daily breakfast. Variety of items. Special eggs for a fee.

I liked the food and the service. Very delicious and well presented. Bathrooms are clean and agreable. Will come back for sure.

Nice place with great view of the harbor. The pizzas were quite special with some original dressing and nice dough. Recommended also for families
