Sculptures Garden

A nice free activity to do in Dunkirk. The sculptures are definitely modern art and each has a plaque with the name of the piece, the artist, and a bit of information about it, for example the materials used and what it depicts. Leads nicely into the museum of modern art.

Very nice, the garden was better then the actual museum haha. Loads of contemporary art. Definitely visit the garden and the fun displays there are all around.

Managed to visit after many years of passing by. It didn't disappoint, in fact, more wondrous than I expected.

The Modern Art Garden attached to the backside of the Museum of Dunkirk and operation Dynamo as well as a fortress said it was based in is an interesting twist and contrast two other sites involved along the beaches and waterways of Dunkirk

Excellent if you love, like me WWII history. Has actual artefacts from then including uniforms, weapons, engines from Lancaster's, Spitfire & Messerschmit's.

Didn't visit but somehow wish I did, given the quality of that granite.

Good park and location.

An experience thst transcends all expectations. One can sense the futility and horrors of war, and the inner struggle to retain dignity of the soldier

Nice peaceful place, we wandered here and onto the beach after seeing operation dynamo museum.
