Perfect French Bistro. Good and helpful service. Excellent tasting food for a reasonable price.
Also a nice en easy atmosphere in the restaurant with an open terrace looking out on the street. Nice and clean toilets too.
Staff is also excellent in English for visiting tourists to have a good meal.
Nothing to complain about. Definitely coming back here.

It is more expensive than I would like to spend normally.
However, we had a lovely meal and it certainly marked my birthday 🎂
So it is worth considering and I would recommend.
We had a good curry.

This resturant could easily be in New York or LA.

Everything our group ordered was incrediblely delicious and the value for quality is wonderful.
The cocktails are interesting, the beer and wine selections lovely.
The owners are welcoming, professional and clearly dedicated.

Overall Walnut feels a elegant, modern and comfortable. Like eating at your sophisticated aunt's house who also went to culinary school. Don't hesitate, just go!

This is such a lovely restaurant. Service is excellent. French or English-speaking and menu in both languages. Food presented beautifully. Pavlova is looks as good as it tastes

Was taken to the Walhut for my birthday. Had an excellent meal, had the sharing platter, fillet steak the pavlova was amazing, the best I've ever eaten! Received a celebration plate with candle, which was a nice finishing touch to a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and helpful and attentive. Restaurant had a great atmosphere and felt luxurious.

Toilets were very clean and high end hand wash and towels provided.

Definitely will go back when in France again.

Excellent experience. The welcome was warm and pleasant. Shown to our table and drinks order placed. The food was excellent and the ambience in the restaurant was very good. Would highly recommend and will be back.
Today, we enjoyed a roast at Walnut. Boy, was it good the pork was cooked beautifully and the salmon starter was excellent. We done again.

Nothing but good things to say about Walnut, it's menu and it's staff. Great ambiance and decor with lots of attention to detail. A menu that is still evolving (they've only been open a couple of months) but already has some solid favourites for my wife & I who are vegetarians. Welcoming attentive staff and proprietors who are always checking to make sure that your dining experience is as good as it can be. We will continue to enjoy our visits.

This was our second visit in a week and it did not disappoint. Superb food, fabulous atmosphere and very attentive servers. We both had the Aberdeen Angus steaks again and they were cooked to perfection. We will be back very soon.

Walnut is the best restaurant in Eymet and for many miles around. The staff are brilliant and most of all, very friendly and helpful. The food is great too and value for money for the quality delivered. Go there!

We had a superb meal at Walnut. I had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten - tender and cooked to perfection. We shared a very nice vegetable platter as a starter - there are good options for vegetarians here, not always easy to find in France. The restaurant has really nice ambience and service was friendly. Certainly one of the if not THE best meal we had during a two week holiday in France. We will return next time we are in the area.

Unfortunately I can't give 6 stars! What a nice restaurant is this! Staff and owners are really friendly and they know how to run it! Really nicely decorated and a very nice atmosphere. Chef knows how to make his dishes, compliments to her/him! The meat (Angus and filet du boeuf) are heavenly made and full of flavours. The homemade fries are delicious and the accompanying sauces are an addition to the dishes. The desserts are really good too! You even get a special Laguiole knife to cut your meat. I will definitely come back here when I'm around!

Ate here on Friday evening. A party of 8. Our host, Julian, was very welcoming and looked after us so well. The food was excellent and the service was very good. 2 of our party arrived late, and it was thought they wouldn't make it, so Julian put the order in to take away as they close at 9pm. The ambiance was lovely, the feature was is stunning. Meal for 8 including wine/beers/steaks was about 40eur a head. Very reasonable for the quality.

This was such a nice surprise, we have found it by passing by. The owners were so super friendly. They have made our evening perfect! The dinner was fantastic. You know what? The have real homemade fries. Very nice. They have really good wines too. The restaurant is very neat and has handlotion and towels. We had a great night. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Reserved for dinner for six friends, and we were all wowed by the food, the service and the decor. The menu is creative and appropriate to the area. The food was really fine, and the wine list well chosen. The proprietors are English, but there was no difficulty dealing with them in French either. Couldn't say enough good things. A great place, well priced, and very friendly.

Great food, wonderfull experience and delightful and friendly staff. Went on a recommendation from friends and was not disappointed. The chilli crispy beef started was the best I have ever tasted. Went as a group of eight and everyone had a fabulous meal. Highly recommend

I loved this place the ambiance was delightful and the staff friendly. Not easy to find imaginative vegetarian food generally in the area. Had probably the best tofu dish ever and i have had a lot if tofu in my day! I was not surprised to hear the chef was Asian.
My husband who is a meat eater was equally happy. So if you want a delicious meal at a reasonable price check this place out.
