Visited many times, never had a bad meal, service fantastic, lovely ambiance ( especially on the terrace), and fabulous food at a great price. We’ve been to the live music evening too…fantastic! We took our vegan daughter here when she came over on holiday and they couldn’t do enough for her.

Very satisfied all over, with salmon tartare and andouillette crumble as starters, cod pie and duck parmentier as mains and apple crumble and panna cotta as desserts. All delicious, amazing value. Recommended.

Lovely lunch with good friends. They make you very welcome and the chef came out to say hi, great overall experience.

Nice meal here, Sunday lunchtime, summer 2022. We paid just over €30pp with house wine so not cheap. Nice ambience, we ate outside and there was good service.

A wonderful little restaurant. The food was simple but excellent and the value was exceptional. Four courses with wine and coffee for under 17 Euros and the highest quality. The owners were attentive and friendly and the kids' menu kept our little ones happy too. Highly recommended!

I've just enjoyed my fifth meal at Le Petit Rossignol. All were good.
I live in the commune so welcome a restaurant of this quality available to me locally.
Since the new tenants took charge earlier this year standards have improved significantly
The food is cooked and presented to perfection. There is a daily menu complemented by a varied a la Carte menu
Service is exemplary. The prices are reasonable and competitive and provide very good value.

What a great little family run restaurant. We were a party of 3, we had two starters - whole baked Camembert and the Perigorian salad. Both large enough for two and very good. For mains we had Skate wings in a Buerre blanc sauce - excellent, steak and frites also excellent and an exceptional Permentier de Canard & Foie gras. A couple of deserts and a lovely Bergerac dry white + some aperitif's all for around €100.

Will definitely come back.

We have just had a lovely lunch with first class service. Our French is not good at all but luckily for us there was a very helpful English couple that spoke very good French and happily translated for Us.

We had an excellent meal here, whilst driving from the south of the Dordogne to Ouistreham for the ferry. We enjoyed a tureen of (salty) soup, gésiers salade/ croque monsieur, Malaysian beef stir fry, followed by crème brulée/ tarte tatin, along with a large jug of red wine and, of course, bread – all for €15.50 each! Wonderful!

Excellent lunch. 16.50€ each for a very tasty 5 course plat de jour including wine and coffee. Stuffed!
